President-elect Trump is doing a very good job of selecting his appointees. Some may not like them but they are his picks.
what he is doing wrong is announcing them one at a time or in small batches. He should wait until he has five or six and then release the names. In singletons, the press and other critics have a chane to gang up on the nominee and start the slice and dice operation to destroy their reputation. If you release them as a larger group, it is more difficult because of the shear volumn of work needed to trash 6 versus one. At least make the jerks work hard to trash the appointees.
