Feared, Not Loved, by Robert Gore

Washington must fear Trump if he is to have any chance of a successful presidency. He was elected to put fear there; his supporters will desert him if he doesn’t. He will never be loved. One enters a nest of vipers with a blowtorch. The advice Trump is getting to make nice-nice with the vipers is dangerous twaddle. If he accepts business as usual, he’s done before he starts. While everything he does must be procedurally correct and comport with the law, he has to make Washington sweat.

"Sometimes during the next four years history's greatest bubble will pop."
Me dino says the sooner the better if Trump will handle it like the 1920 Crash.
Should the bubble pop near the end of his presidency, Trump will not be reelected for being blamed for it.
The career politician elites far more responsible tor the Great Crash of 2020 will be dancing in the streets.
Me dino no economist, me wonders if such a "well-timed" crash can be manipulated to happen beyond a sitting president's control.
Not hard to imagine a Bolshevik Bernie or the returned from hell evil hag offering some kinda overtly fascist Renewed New Deal program

spot on on your analysis and what must be done by Trump to succeed...early indications (making Pence his gate-keeper), are that he will not drain the swamp...he is a pragmatist and has no principles to stand on and will sink in the quicksand that is modern day politics...probabilities are therefore high on a failed presidency...Janet Yellow has already indicated that she will resort to negative interest rates in the next recession (probability of over 65% in 2017)...the only question is how fast we fall or slide into a totalitarian state...

back from our first transition to the life of an RV workcamper...very interesting mix of people who have dropped out and gone off the grid...it only costs $180 to live on BLM (bureau of land mgmt) land for 7 months...

You just presented a pretty good description of Howard Roark.I think that creating fear by the opposition was an element of his successful run he has his own agenda and a tried and true (for him) way of operating. I think you can expect to see an administration that works like a business model with hardly any tolerance for obfuscation, obstruction or dilly-dallying.
