Reality is Sexist!

Back in the day, when I first read The Fountainhead, I thought AR was a bit over the top with some of the projects her Ellsworth Toohey character was up to. It didn't ring true.

But more recently, I'm having to accept that she was not exaggerating. The link above relates to the story of a woman who is on track to get a PhD for arguing that any concept of immutable scientific law or objective reality is "sexist" and discriminates against minorities.

    The idea the women and minorities cannopt utilize logic and the scientific method is BS. There are many women and minorities that are top flight mathematicians and scientists. Try going to a doctor (Medical type) who can't use logic and the scientific method. Won't find one their entire profession is based on those two pricipals. This includes women and minority doctors. (How about Dr. Ben Carson. Try telling him he can't use logic or the scientific method. I dare you)

      Yeah, there are people all over the place who have their own overwhelming struggles accepting aspects of reality. I get that.

      But what I don't get is how some of them are actually in contention to get a doctorate degree! :O
