We're about to find out what a successful businessman can do in the "Swamp." By the way, has anyone noticed that the villains in thriller-type movies are usually top level business people? The humans that bites the hand that feeds them. (Dogs are better than that.)

He will have plenty of detractors and I suspect he will bring the case to the people as Reagan did first term. One thing for sure , politics makes for strange bedfellows.
Top level businessmen have in some cases sacrificed their employees and taken astronomical bonuses as reward, The pay level for top mgmt has grown dramatically while over 50% of the workers have had their income drop over the last 16 years.

There's always that question of who may be behind the curtain stirring the pot.
This morning I've already read in my email a claim that these demonstrations are not spontaneous but are bought and paid for by George Soros.
In photos and news videos I've looked for matching manufactured signs that's always a tip off about that but I haven't seen any.
So maybe these angry snowflake eruptions are indeed spontaneous due to crappy socialist slanted educations.
Maybe, maybe. There are always leaders who get the balls rolling here and there.
Me dino wonders if they all know each other.

They want it delivered to the electors in the Electoral College. There are only about half the states that require these electors to vote for the winner of the state. And the fines are quite negligible and the petition creators have promised that the Democrats would be quite willing to pay it for any rogue voter who helped to get Hillary into the White House.

But they forget one thing. Isn't it a fact that only a loyal Party member ever gets nominated to a slate of elector-candidates? How could they possibly think a Donald Trump elector would take their bribe?

Because they live in echo chambers which reinforces their belief that they are in the majority and are thus right. I believe they are projecting what they would do if they were in that position. They would sell out their principles in order to maintain their good standing within their peer groups. Their biggest fear is that they will fall afoul of what their friends deem proper mindthink. In other words, they are trying to shitshame these electors because they believe they share this same dynamic within their (the electors) lives.

The Republican electors might be loyal Republicans, but we've seen that not all Republicans are loyal to Trump. Have his own people vetted them, or did he leave that to the party hacks?

The only way that could make a difference is if you can imagine Republicans voting for Hillary. If they vote instead for Gary Johnson or Evan McMullin, the election goes to the House (for President) and Senate (for Vice-President).

Good luck with "overturning" the election. Trump has 290 electoral votes and is ahead by 12,000 in Michigan and behind by 2,500 in New Hampshire, the last undeclared states. It would take at least 21 electors and possibly 37 switching sides to elect Hillary. The only "faithless elector" so far is a Democrat in Washington state who says he will refuse to cast his electoral vote for Hillary Clinton.

The "she won the popular vote" argument is bogus. Both campaigns would have been run very differently if a popular vote system was in place. Both Trump and Clinton would have campaigned heavily in California and ignored the lightly populated states such as Wyoming and Alaska.

The surprising fact, about the "faithless elector" was that he is an Indian. Most of them vote Demoncrat, so I was shocked to see a decision like this coming from that particular corner.

Is there any way Clinton could've burned her own house down, any faster? The mind boggles.

The first time Hillary ran she identified herself as a progressive. So this time around she coulda burned her house down faster by saying "Yes, a progressive is a globalist socialist and so I'm stacking the Supreme Court to shred that silly Constitution."
Just sayin'. That's what she was up to anyways.

Oh, but it may not be over, you see more and more stories of "recounts", "undiscovered purely Hillary ballots locked in a cellar closet in the courthouse" stories. The popular vote moved to The Beast mysteriously after the few holdout states who needed to get some more fingers and toes to count with started to dribble in results. This opens the door to the "Hillary really won" crowd, and the protests, riots and crybaby sessions. Next will be the "Force the electors to follow the peoples will" campaign and they have 30 days to harass them.

If Trump had won by only a few electoral votes this tactic might have worked. If any elector switched to Gary Johnson, there's even a scenario in which he would have become President. A deadlocked Electoral College would have thrown the election into the House of Representatives, which would have had to choose from the three top finishers. With Trump and Hillary unable to muster a majority of Electors, Johnson might have triumphed as the compromise candidate. However, with Trump likely having a comfortable cushion of 37 electoral votes, I don't see anything like this happening.

Makes me wonder about the onset of the "dark ages" where, perhaps, those that still could not get over and move on to conscious thought at the behence of losing that ancient voice they thought were gods, which may equate to today's leftest rhetoric, and rebelled and destroyed everything built by those that would eventually ascend.
        Have we come full circle?

You might say that that "ancient voice" is very close to the surface in all humans. For some it is there all the time with god speaking to them. I consider the change away from that most of the time is due to an evolution of memes. Those contagious ideas sometimes go though parts of the society as with the meme that the election is somehow a pure democratic vote rather than the federalist republican vote system of the Constitution. As in biological evolution, some irrational memes will die out except for a few isolated minds that take a lifetime to die. They will be replaced by memes which are more rational where those who do not want to do a lot of thinking can do their cheering, patriotic acts, church work, and other everyday belonging activities. The human mind is not far from that primitive state where a new dark age within a large part of the society can begin again. The tooling up for that is nearly done in many of the school systems.

Yes!...exactly. There are still those that hear voices foreign to them, voices not their own and still some increasingly...have no voice at all for that inner conversation as I have discovered.

Much of my work, as you know, is to create something that will reawaken the mind. It's really not far fetched and my hopes are that included will be the history and time tested thoughts of our ancestors.
Many that have advanced their memes fail to include all the time tested truths in each preceding meme...you might surmise that if you have gotten around to "spiral dynamics".

When I was in high school in the 1950s, the meme was still Bacon's 1597 "knowledge is power' which was quoted on the book covers. Today it seems to have been replaced with things like "money is power", "I have the power of faith", "Power in political or group strength", etc., with no idea of what Bacon meant.
Perhaps minds can be awakened by instilling memes slightly pointed in the direction of instilling a desire to be excited about contemplating and enjoying the natural world with "the joy of finding things out." I am not hopeful considering that a woman I know who graduated from bible school is able to believe the Earth is flat. I gave her a few ideas on how to find out that that might not be the shape of the Earth. I do not know whether it helped her.

Much of that knowledge and buildings came from the Nephilim, human kind picked it up quickly but as I state, we had no awareness of the implications until about 2500 years ago...that's when we really came into our own...and we're still working that out.

OUC I would not dispute your work as I don't know when some men became conscious. I do know some still have not attained consciousness . We have more exploration work to do before we get to an understanding of mans ancient history.
We have been pushing back in time mans talents and abilities by thousands of years in just the last 2 decades. No explanations for fossils of man found in layers of coal 500 feet deep or in California mountain rock equally deep.

Laughing...sure did and they blamed it on the Gods!

Here is something puzzling and interesting at the same time. Right about the time that mankind got so confused by the voices in their heads and everyone else's, that, the Voice went away...I can imagine how devastating that must have been. That was the precise point when we started, ever so slowly, connecting to our minds and gaining introspection.
During that same time period, about 24/25 hundred years ago, earths magnetic field got the strongest in history. Been weakening ever since. But it's interesting these things happened at the exact same time.
I am absolutely sure there is a quantum connection here as there may have been during many other times in history.

Another reason I am disappointed with our education system. We don't teach our children how and why the government was set up the way it is by our Founders. They didn't want expediency because a decision made in haste is usually a poor decision based on little fact. The Electoral College was a stop gap to prevent a more populous urban area having complete sway over the lower populated rural areas by shear numbers (a Presidential candidate in a pure democracy would only have to campaign in the urban centers to win). It is also a recognition of States rights over the Federal by allowing each state to have a proportional say in the election of the President.

I think then, they will need to look at the education system currently powered by a whole lot of people who have never "worked" for a living (i.e. having to be part of a business that makes a profit and pays costs (like taxes). As long as the education intelligensia is allowed to pollute the minds of the new generations, this will never end, they will continue to be snowflakes with no spine, totally unaware of the real world and costs, and think taxes are something someone else just gets out of. That free is ok, and just happens. And that they deserve it all because they are SO SPECIAL.

The popular vote difference across the country is not that great. I think it may be closely related to number the never trumpers influence circles across the country. For the no chance third party candidates that were running just to opposed Trump, I can say they were successful in that aspect but still lost. Had we not had that opposition, I believe we wouldn't have rioting, but for the usual disgruntles. The media has been fueling rioters with hatred statements from their guest and tv hosts. I'm still waiting for the celebs that promised to leave to start boarding planes. May I suggest Venezuela? I'm sure they would like celebrities telling them how to live and vote.

Clinton's "win" of the popular vote (if it holds up) is within statistical noise. To get a reliably accurate count of the vote totals, it would take a months-long effort by thousands of paid vote counters, costing the states millions of dollars. That alone tells us why we don't rely on the popular vote. The Founders continue to be proven incredibly wise.

There will be no end to the number and kind of temper tantrum the left will throw during the next 4/8 years. The rioters in Portland, OR are another manifestation. These are organized thugs intent on destroying the country and replacing our government with a socialist one of one form or another.

The electoral college has been the target of the left as well. Destroy that and we'll be just another banana "republic" governed by San Francisco, LA, Chicago, and New York.

As far as the college protestors go, instead of giving them a couple of days off to get over the trauma of Trump being elected they should be telling them, "This is life. If you can't handle life's ups and downs then you do not belong in college. So, go back to the sandbox with the rest of the children."

Just to add to the mix, here is a well thought out article about the now-we-need-it Electoral College dissolution act:

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/co...

I find his logic to be very good in justifying why it is not a good idea to go with the popular vote (in spite of my bias against it anyways since it seems, for some reason, the Democratic places seem totally inept at counting and always seem to "uncover" hidden and missing ballots, giving the election to the one they want).
