Since there isn't a Houseful of Gowdy's it might take the People to set the laws straight. This is a situation where an organization like Black Lives Matter needs to be formed. I'm confident if it formed it would be a lot bigger with a lot more people joining in.

Listen to the voice in this video compared to other videos of Trey Gowdy. The tone is different, the timbre of the voice is different. Also I suspect with all the gaps in the audio, this has been tampered with. I'm not saying I don't like the man, especially the way he's gone after the truth from these people, I'm just saying the sound in this video isn't authentic.

I see your point, it is hard to tell, he seems to be limited to very special positions, like their own little Green Beret...I do not see him ever going after anyone with political hack statements like most do..

You are right about that. As we all know the Rs want power just like the Ds, and their power comes at our expense.
My point was that his positions are clear and well stated, refreshing. However, does he really stand for smaller government (the mark of a real legislator of change) or is he a clear thinker and great orator, who will use his gifts for power?

When my boys were young, we went to DC. It was a glorious trip. Today, I couldn't say the same things I told them then.

I am not sure how much impact one person can have in Congress, reason why it is always "the party" that makes all the stupid decisions. Never underestimate the power of a group of stupid (or corrupt) people. Trey seems to be an outlier fighting on a small front, but he is damn good.

I absolutely love Trey Gowdy! I subscribe to his YouTube channels. It is so nice to see someone who understands the law and the US Constitution so thoroughly and use it to do what is right! He gives me hope.

However, can anyone tell me what has come of it? Are his incisive questions being answered and acted upon? Words without actions is just spitting into the wind.

He would be my PERFECT choice for attorney general.

I'd love to see Gowdy given full rein over the Department of Justice with the mandate to clean house. I think he'd do an admirable job as Attorney General.
