And then came giving away East Germany and East Berlin, with Eastern Europe along with it, after starving people with the airlift. The only fully successful 20th century president was Reagan, and no red can even pretend to success. Obama, on the other hand, even though it was fairly well known that UBL was a gutless coward who never wanted to be anywhere near danger, let his special forces team go into the capture situation completely ignorant of the truth about him, so they felt it necessary to kill him because they weren't sure he didn't have a suicide vest. Because of that mistake, al Qaeda was taken over by a man of immensely greater intellect and courage, and is many times more dangerous than it has ever been before. And since he doesn't have to hide several hundred miles from anywhere anything significant is going on, the time wasted between actions and decisions has shrunk a great deal. Thanks to Obama's irresponsible slow-acting on intelligence and affirmative action among intel analysts. Doing nothing would have made al Qaeda much less dangerous than they are now, let alone his murdering thousands of women and children with drones which has increased recruitment from being small enough that the terrorist group was shrunken down to practical inconsequentiality to rapidly growing to being the largest it has ever been.

BTW, UBL wasn't even a terrorist yet when Clinton entered office, so it's rather silly to imagine someone before him would seek to kill him. Obama's war and foreign policy record is the worst in the history of the English-speaking world.

The best war record of any President in living memory is George Washington; unless you think that history is dead. Happy fourth of July!
