I remember how the MSM went crazy over Iran-Contra and how a Democrat controlled congress led the charge. Fourteen people were charged with crimes over that bit of illegal arms dealing, including Colonel North. Eleven were convicted. However, a federal trial judge in Washington eventually dismissed Oliver North's conviction. Several convictions were overturned and President Bush pardoned some others.

The Fast and Furious gunrunning fiasco ended with "disciplinary action" against some low level government agents, but no criminal charges of substance were made against them. Many low level players/fall-guys that cooperated with the government agents were charged, but no government agent of rank in charge was really held responsible. Guns from the government run program were found at the scene of Agent Terry's death, but to date, only two of the bandits responsible for Agent Terry's death have been convicted. Others remain at large, and many of the guns are still unaccounted for. Eric Holder was held in contempt of congress, but that charge was toothless and had no other penalty.

This story is about democrats during an election season though, so it will get a pass. The MSM will not make the same noise this time and the Republican controlled congress has demonstrated itself to be feckless.
I hope I am wrong, but this latest event will probably be swept under the rug without even a charge.

I have long thought there was a covert weapons situation being covered up in Benghazi. In fact, Glenn Beck speculated as much on the day after Benghazi first happened. Now the evidence is coming forth ... finally. This is the Oliver North situation all over again.

The details of this deal make it clear that it's worse than the Iran-Contra incident, but of course because the perpetrator is a Democrat, the media is trying its best to keep this out of public view.

No surprise at all. In fact, I suspect this is mild, compared to other things that our government has their fingers in.

Glenn Beck actually called this only a few days after Benghazi actually happened. He speculated that the entire Benghazi incident was to cover up the arms deals to Al Queda.

Covert operations on a grand scale have been going on since Roosevelt. There is not a single President or party that has not participated in the moving of arms to various sides of issues, sometime good and more often bad. The excuse is always filled with patriotic slogans, the results are often disasters. When they are disastrous, then somehow the higher up politicians have clean hands while some poor schmuck gets tossed under the semi-trailer.

Aw, Liar-In-Chief Oblamer wouldn't protect Shillary that way. He always has Bushy Brains to blame for stuff like that. Just ask any network but that foxy FOX.
And the rise of ISIS (O prefers ISIL because that geographically includes Israel) can't be Shillary's or his fault either since Bushy Brains started the whole mess at the get-go.
Yes, you can take it to the banksters that Oblamer and Shillary are as pure as wind-driven snow, which we soon won't have thanks to Republicans who want dirty air, dirty water and manmade climate change because they want to abuse their own children.

Too complicated for Dumbocrat voters to understand. Hillary is good. Anybody else is bad.
