So you think you're not a Nationalist, yet you accuse foreigners of being disease ridden drains on welfare and unfair competition for jobs? You realize that's the defining characteristic of a Nationalist attitude and belief system, right?
And actually, there is one nation that currently has apartheid in place: Israel. And you are correct that I have never personally experienced apartheid myself, but I have read a few books on the subject, the most prominent of which was a book written by former President Jimmy Carter, titled, "Palestine - Peace, Not Apartheid," which has gone a long way towards shaping my views on the issue.
And then there's also the recent movie about Nelson Mandela and his fight against the polices of racial apartheid which were imposed by the Nationalist Party in South Africa, which is why Mandela is celebrated as an icon of freedom and civil rights today. Here's the trailer for that:
There's also another documentary titled "The Pervert's Guide to Ideology," which is just generally about philosophy, but which features a particular scene describing the inherent link between fascism and the fear of foreigners. You can watch that clip here:
Pay special attention to this quote at the end of the clip:
"Let me just take some other concepts of the Nazi world view. The solidarity of the people. My god, there is nothing bad in this notion as such. The problem is solidarity to what kind of people? If by people you mean falzedemeintia, the organic community of people, where then the enemy is automatically the foreign intruder, in this case we are in Nazism." ~ Slavoj Žižek
Be horrified as you wish, but a person consumed with some genetic abnormality or a carrier of disease which cannot be cured, only spread or a moron is simply not going to make a good addition to our society. We are descussing allowing people in based on how they will add to our society, not be a burden to it. We have enough of those who are born here.
I'm certain you can place this in the collection of other things we don't see eye to eye on.
Control of the quality of people coming into our country? The very suggestion is abhorrent. Government should never be given authority to judge the "quality" of human beings.
I should add the if believing that our laws should be followed and obeyed places me in a line to be labeled as "white nationalists and advocates of racial apartheid", OK, but I don't think so.
I KNOW you aren't old enough to personally have seen what apartheid was all about, and since it's not a system in place in any current nation I know of, just how does this apply to America? I find this reference very confused - or perhaps I'm just having a bad brain day. Just what do you mean?
immigration is controlled in order to have some control of the quality of people coming into our country. Next immigration is controlled in order to insure that US workers not competing against some worker from Somalia (for instance) who would be very happy to take any job for $7.50 a hour, or even $3.
Our system is also in place to help insure that disease ridden third world boat people aren't coming carrying plague or hepatitis for a couple "no go" diseases.
There are many others, but most importantly it's to insure that our US citizens privilege's are not passed out like door prizes at a party. People swimming/wading across the Rio Grande river are not entitled to Social Security, welfare, food stamps and all the rest.
Lastly, you say immigration shouldn't be illegal like you think it's illegal. It's not. It's controlled and regulated. Limited and very legal as long as you do it properly. What's illegal is just walking across the border without documentation. .
Is says "porque frontera entró usted" (because border did you enter) Are they trying to say: "¿Por cuál frontera entró usted?" (Through which border did you enter?)
1. There is no proof to support the baseless claim that the Obama administration is feeding information to immigrants. Contrary to what the white nationalists and advocates of racial apartheid apparently think, a person does not have to receive communication via an informant from the Federal government to acquire knowledge of the law. In a free society, the law is openly available to the general public, so a Federal informant is unnecessary.
2. Immigration shouldn't even be illegal in the first place.
