White House now faults Republicans for weak border security

Securing the border is a National Security issue and should be tied to nothing. The Republicans need to approach this the way the White House approached the debt ceiling and the continuing resolutions to fund the Government. Pass a clean bill that just funds securing the Border. Demand that it pass first. Make the Administration explain why they won't secure the Border.

    Yes, and there's no bread left for the buns. The border patrol is making peanut butter sandwiches by the thousands causing a bread shortage.

    It'll never be taken up in the Senate. And then the P will demagogue the issue saying that the R's don't do anything. And the people are too stupid, and the R's too inept at communication, to see through this charade.

    Oh, I don't know. These weasels are quite clever. And with HR in the senate, they have lots of cover. Not an honorable one in the whole bunch.
