Sorry Desi I was taking a cheap shot at Universal Health Care. I think some of these illegals are just passing thru Mexico. They (Mexico) have a government and health care system that many progressives seem to be promoting here. Its pretty clear where the immigrants prefer to go.

Isn't that part of the reason why we have a LEGAL immigration process?? To make sure those coming in aren't carrying diseases? I feel like we're handing our country over to all of the moochers, looters, and terrorists of the world on a silver platter.

They forgot whooping cough. I have to get a whooping cough vaccination to be around my new grandson in SC because the flood of illegals are bringing it with them, so the doctors in the state are recommending everyone around infants to get protected.

Surely this is unsurprising to anyone?

We have all heard of diseases that the WHO claims were eradicated that keep popping back up?

WHO that's right...first word out of their mouth when someone points at them to ask why. WHO us!!!!!

Intended consequence of course, no agency ever intends to end whatever "problem" they are allegedly addressing, then they would be out of a job, and no longer swilling at the trough.

That doesn't necessarily mean that everyone is being vaccinated, does it? I'm thinking that the people that are fleeing their countries are not living under the best circumstances. Its highly unlikely that they are attempting to get vaccinated.

Maybe they include all the money sent back by illegals in the US without counting those illegals as part of the Mexico population.

OK, so they did institute universal insurance. Not exactly gov't run, but they're getting close.

Interesting that this Director of the Harvard Global Equity Initiative (Knaul) thinks that Mexico is a "middle income" country.

Not sure that's true. At least, it wasn't when I lived there 20 years ago (almost exactly to the day, now).
