I just posted an article from the Observer about responses from a tavern in the Pennsylvania hinterland. Even with Trumps lack of performance he still did a better job than the Beast, in a Dem/Indie pub.
Me dino thinks I just saw a video of who will for really really real will be the real president if only as a specter in the shadows. Tis true that the next royal ruler in line for her coronation has her ego as queen along with her (psst! rape enabling) feminist airs, but her most influential advisor has literally been in bed with her for decades when not briefly hopping into others. I can't help but think of similar if less lecherous stuff I lived through as a young Alabama voter who never did vote for a Wallace. My previously indoctrinated all white publicly schooled mind was in the process of independently growing up by then despite knowing some guys in the KKK. I had been moved my MLK's "I have a dream" speech but I digress. Alabama First Lady Lurleen Wallace never had a hope in hell for early treatment that may have let her live longer than age 42. Told by a doctor that his wife had cancer, Segregationist hero George Wallace kept that little bit of nothing to himself and encouraged Lurleen to run for governor. She won. Then the poor thing up and died 16 months later in 1968, one year before the first moon landing and yours truly getting drafted to be two years a slave. But what happened to dirt napping Lurleen is okay. She has a lake named after her. Who can beat that with a stick?
He probably was afraid she would bark again! If she really got out of control, he knows how frequently she uses the F-bomb on on Secret Service, Bill himself, military advisors, etc. So, she pasted on the medicated, teeth clenched, fake smiles, and played condescending insecure big girl. .What a pair of cons.
I am so sick of her condescending attitude. She has not been good at anything , except helping Bill run a con. As far as IQ, mine is as high as hers, and I have worked in the real world, so I am one of those college educated suburban women they say are against Trump, someone is wrong, our street is filled with Trump signs. Who care about what he called some beauty queen, or if he insulted Rosie (ugh), somehow, I am not intimidated by a successful man, and feel he is a good person.,
I guess you just have to handle the fact he is not a polished manipulator, he relies on brute force, which weirds out those who need "safe places" and such. However, I think it seems that there are more people who would rather have him, than a "safe place". Neither of them is a good choice, but other than maybe Trey Gowdy, no politician is worth spit.
I don't do 'safe spaces", as my screen names attests. I react much like Trump, except I studied the Delphi Technique and how to disarm people who try to manipulate with it 9 remain, but in control of the topic. I did work for a misogynistic gay editor once who went back and forth between requesting a blow job and clenching raised fists at me - we managed not to kill each other for several years. We worked well together when I wasn't telling him off for his stupid acts. I think Bill Clinton would be like that, Hillary once told an employee Bill hit, that he only did that to people he loves. I think she and Bill are violent with each other, much like my editor was with his wife.
Well, you have to remember, it is the people who "need" safe spaces, that are particularly attracted to the Beast and her fantasy football game. She gives them that stern "I am in total control and will protect you" fantasy world they all long for. Not her honesty, integrity, or commitment to truth and the law.....
There are no adults, strictly speaking, in this election year. I don't think either presidential candidate believes a word they are saying. They only say the words they think will elect them. Has it always been thus? Perhaps so.
I have to admit I was so impressed with how polished HIllary was in the first debate, I wasn't concentrating on what she was saying as well as some of the focus groups. Their comments were mostly about how arrogant and condescending she was, how she tried to turn every answer into a personal attack on Trump's character, and how devoid of real content her answers were. Even Michael Moore was furious that she kept directing people to buy her book (which hit the market like a cow flop) to find out about the details of her programs. By contrast, the audience "felt Trump's pain" and considered his emotional responses as righteous indignation. I don't know if Hillary is listening to Bill, but if she continues this way she's toast.
Doc! It's "Cow Patty" or "Meadow Muffin" they flop when they are released into the wild. Then we have her book... Look at the posting I think Allosaur made, where Amazon has edited the reviews to lessen the "critiques".
