I eagerly watched the TV interview with Gary Johnson and, later, with the Green Party candidate, Jill Stein. But the debates, coming just a month and a half before the election, are intende to put the REAL possibilities for President head to head. This is the culmmintion of the nomination and campaign season, in which Garry Johnson failed to aroused and significant part of the electorate. So, in fact, did Jill Stein, the first U.S. green party candidates. Just this evening, she has gotten major press coverage (big surprise!) will her complaint that Trump and Clinton have run "nightmare canpaigs," and therefore her common sense and idealism MUST be given a chance in debates. Do you want Jilll Stein and her views--EVERY unemployed American should be given a federal goverment job--one of the largest audiences ever of a TV program? It could help establish the greens as a permanent factor in American politics. America always has been an essentually two-party nation. The idea was that the U.S. Constitution defines what government may and may not do, so the party in power is judged on how well it carries out that mandate. What a joke! That has broken down. But when multiple party candidates become routine in our country, it means that the principles that we accept as fixed are now without limit "in play." That is the beginning of the end.
