    Without government intervention, they wouldn't be getting squat - which is how it should be. Yes, its nice to offer people political asylum here, but I really shouldn't have to pay (taxes) for someone else to live. If they are willing to come here, they should live by our laws, adopt our language and culture, and actually become Americans. If their only goal is to get away from something and not to go toward something better, they do not understand what this nation is all about.

    Pardon me? Is that legal immigrants? How did they count the illegal immigrants?
    High school graduates? Is that "Common Core" graduates or pre-1971 high school graduate equivalent before the meddling looters wrecked the states' education systems?
    What is the cost of immigrants with high school diploma who can't speak english? What is the mean time it takes for immigrants to learn english equivalent to an American high school graduate?
    In my opinion, this estimate of cost is far too low.
