Someone should tell Kim that we have something called "freedom of speech." Also, explain to him what a joke is.

    From the movies description;

    In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show "Skylark Tonight." When they discover that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.

    Oh yeah, this will be a REAL blockbuster!

    It's a Seth Rogan movie... the odds of it sucking are therefore pretty high...

    I thought that too Circuit. Even a comedy about assassinating the President would not be received well in Washington.

    I wonder how much of what he says is for internal consumption. He can appear to be standing up against a Goliath knowing people outside won't take any of it seriously, so there's no real price.

    I could see people not getting the joke if people in another country made a comedy about murdering President Bush or President Obama.

    Kim should have waited. There is a good chance the movie will suck and no one will see it.
