I couldn't agree more. When I watched it I had just finished reading that part of the book yet I still found it hard to follow.

Where's Ragnar the pirate?

Bare bones. Knowing the book, it followed it. However I have heard the argument that without more backstory there actions do don't portray the same thing. Things out of context can mean just about anything and not much context was given in such a short movie. I felt similarly after watching star wars episode 3, it finally put darth vaders actions the proper context so that I could finally understand his motivation in movie 6... I hope these next movies can add the context that one did not have the time to portray.

I am not concerned about who plays certain roles, I just want the story to be told properly. The way it needs to be told.

I don't know, I'm a big fan of the previous dagny, but we'll have to see what the new cast is like when the movie is released.
