Some of the comments are about forming multiple countries. We really should have more regional autonomy and allow cities or counties to experiment with different gov'ts.

I knew you didn't mean me, I was practicing some politics and PC when I said that. Can't beat 'em, join 'em. "B'ham" is over my head, I'm lost as to what you are asking? And as far as the video I referred to, just in case, here is the link to the first reply: http://www.galtsgulchonline.com/posts/96... I haven’t figured out how to link to the top message yet, but this link should get you there.

Nope, I didn't mean you by my comments. I'm originally from MO and we moved back here to save our sanity. I'll look for the thread.
Curious. You don't happen to live near B'ham, do ya?

Maybe we'll all have to pay an additional 2.5% "prevent California from falling into the pacific" tax :O

I'm not sure if I should be offended by the "Kalifornicating" of WA. I left CA some 37 years ago. And "Typical", "soiled their backyards", and "process of destruction again" , could be painful. Thank goodness I'm originally from WI. CA was just a 'bump in the road' before coming here. Besides I really know you were not talking about me.

I hope we see the part about your son's observation of "intolerable" for non-liberals prove to be a miscalculation today. Actually 90% of everyone I'm around are not of the liberal/progressive disorder. I've found a lot of coverts recently, and a whole lot conservatives that still just remain silent. We've just got to get them out to vote, silence will do nothing. This brings up something I saw recently, a video with Brigitte Gabriel. I'll find it and start a new thread with it. It's compelling, watch for it.

When I read of this kind of stuff, Clooney running for Gov. of CA, I keep in mind that actors follow scripts to assume the personalities of mostly fictional characters. They play "pretend", much as most of us did when we were kids and played "cops and robbers" or whatever. There is also a personality disorder for folks who don't grow out of that phase of their childhood.
I guess if the liberals give Clooney a script to follow if he is elected Gov., he could do at least as well as "moonbeam". Or not. I wonder who is in charge of flushing CA when the libs are done with it?
This kind of thing just cracks me up.

President Obama has set the bar low enough that even actors are willing to audition for political office. Let's face it, the current president merely repeats the script from the teleprompter.

That's just what we need. Another hollywood libral democrat that can't tell the real world from make believe. The last converted actor worth his salt was Ron Reagan.

Left WA state 22 years ago. Saw the Kalifornicating happening with the influx of the escapees from southern part of CA. Miss the scenery and my grown kids who still live in the western part of WA. Other than that, not much else.
Typical of liberals/progressives, once they have soiled their backyards, they move to another to begin the process of destruction again. My son reports that it is getting intolerable to live there for a person who is not of the liberal mental disorder.

I'm starting to wonder why actors seem to think they can transform magically into a chief executive? Like Arnie Schwarzenegger found out, PLAYING a governor on screen and BEING a governor in real life are 2 separate and disparate realities. Sure, Clooney is a pretty decent actor... but a leader that makes him not.

And with Clooney being an avowed liberal leftist, he will fit right in with the Urban Liberalists. The sheeple are sure to make him the next "He's a star so Ill vote with my autograph book in hand" politician.

No wonder those in Jefferson, er, Rural California dream of secession. ;-)

I was there, in California, when Jerry served as governor in the 70's. I left California in 1977 mainly because of it. I'm sure George could get California even more liberalized than even Jerry did.

It's about time I look for another home again, Washington State has been turning really liberal. People up here automatically vote for the "D". None of them can tell you why, except that they are Democrats because their mommy's and daddy's were Democrats. They have no other reason. Most think Ben Ghazi wouldn't stand a chance against Hillary for President. We really need a test in order to qualify to vote. A voter should at least be aware of the issues and how they effect our freedom, not just brainwashed by some stupid slogan or some handsome SOB.

Just what California needs: A democrat version of Arnold. Some time ago, it was said that California wanted to be a separate country. C'mon, California, do it! Please?

That was before the left coast became so progressive. My guess is that he'd lop off both coasts, now.

Do not count New Hampshire (or most of Vermont, Maine or for that matter the northeast part of New York) with southern New England and the corridor from Boston to DC.

And to know that Ronny was a convert from a big "D" to an "R" even while he was deep in the "D" world there in Hollywood. If he started today he wouldn't even be known, they would ban him from getting near the studios. My parents worked on his campaign for governor, then for President. As President, and I have it now, he even sent my dad a birthday card signed by him and Nancy from the White House.

You could go a state east. There are lots of liberal moochers here, but at least they don't look at you sideways if you have a gun.

Ben Ghazi was thinking of asking Stu Ped to be his running mate.

Rosie wasn't his mom, but his aunt. His mom was not really anybody famous except around Cincinnati and northern KY, same with his dad (Rosie's brother, Nick).
