I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch...I read Atlas Shrugged, for the first time in 1962, the copy was given to me in a meeting. Since then I've given away hundreds of copies. I have a copy in front of me. paperback, with a price on it for $2.25.

So I've been around for awhile. And I'm curious to find out if human intelligence is still out there.

I was in the Gulch when I wrote that, so by out there I was meaning beyond the Gulch. At 83 I don't get around much any more. But when I was more active I found that the prayer that Voltaire had answered gave me plenty of trouble in discussing politics. Voltaire said that once he prayed to God to make his enemies ridiculous and his prayer was answered.
