“He's the looter who thinks that his end justifies his seizure of my means.” For some reason, this quote has been my favorite for years. Hopefully it makes it into the movie (Part 3).

I would pay $50 for a T-shirt with this quote next to a picture of our smiling Emperor Obama. In light of recent polling this might become a reality!!!!!

This is the quote in context, beginning with Dagny reproaching Francisco:

"I didn't know which side you belonged on. It didn't seem possible—but it's the side of Orren Boyle and Bertram Scudder and your old teacher."
"My old teacher?" he asked sharply.
    "Dr. Robert Stadler."
He chuckled, relieved. "Oh, that one? He's the looter who thinks that his end justifies his seizure of my means." He added, "You know, Dagny, I'd like you to remember which side you said I'm on. Some day, I'll remind you of it and ask you whether you'll want to repeat it."

"The government (or regulatory agencies. Substitute as needed) seize my property and think that their end justifies stealing my means."

I like it but it does not sound like someone speaking - it sounds like someone quoting. Maybe we should re-write it into a more colloquial form. How about:

"Those looters seize my property and think that their end justifies stealing my means."

    Others??
