This is a unique ground floor opportunity for a bright enterprising technical sales person who wants to be in charge of growing our wireless test solutions business in California and Western US. octoScope’s wireless testbed, octoBox, is proliferating within major chipset vendor, NEM and operator accounts and we need help with account management and customer support.

This is an opportunity for you to learn the fast-growing world of wireless technology, get to know key customers and gain experience in building a business in the most tech-active part of the world. And to make very good money if you are successful.

octoScope is forming a small California-based customer-focused team and we are looking for a team leader whom we can trust to take charge, connect with our Boston-based team, grow our sales and be our eyes and ears in the market. We will consider candidates with a range of experience. Key considerations are: your attitude, willingness to learn, engage and focus on results. We will provide the required training.

octoScope is different from a typical start-up in that no VCs are involved and hence we have our own independent culture. We are a self-funded fast-growing wireless test solution company run by a group of exceptional individuals.

Ms. FM, I remember talking to you for an article I was writing five years ago on your anechoic chamber that was just big enough to stay out of the near field but no bigger. It sands out in my mind because I've done all the other alternatives: spend all day in a black sensory-deprivation anechoic chamber, use a metal-coated non-anechoic room (probably the worst choice), OAT in the parking lot (nice on a nice spring day, but too much interference), and just wiring coax and attenuators to each MIMO antenna port (to test an idealized dream scenario with no correlation between the MIMO paths).

It's cool that you have a sales presence on the East Coast and no VC funding. :)

      Hey CircuitGuy
Thanks for the note. I remember Element-14. And our interview at a trade show in Boston. Nice to know you are an Objectivist! Do you still do video work? Maybe we can talk about some of our PR activities? Could you email me at fm@octoscope.com?

I interviewed you by phone or e-mail, as I recall, and then someone else who had read my article did a video interview in person.

I discovered Ayn Rand four years ago, shortly after I wrote that article.
