    It is amazing how that "Workplace related incident" in Fort Collins has caused such terrorizing results. Although there is no mention of any apparent connection to that problem at the military base. Steamboat is a long way from Fort Collins. The jihadist may have been having an isolated and unexpected emotional outburst; perhaps overreacting a bit in his threatening remarks. He is just another bully. He'll be okay. I am sure they will be drone-ing him.

    We can only hope... and after them, the Muslims and Protestants... Is there anyone else for whose All Mighty destruction we should pray? :-)

        Sorry... I was being sarcastic. I went back and threw in an emoticon... I just meant that it was ironic that a Muslim would pick out others of his kind from a different tribe, many of whom would wish some retributive judgement for him and his.

        I did not read the original story; and I should have.

        That said, one nut we do not usually crack is why people of good will and bad are found among all societies. Ayn Rand devoted an entire novel to the tragedy of the good Bolshevik. In The Fountainhead, perhaps the most despicable person is Homer Slottern, a successful businessman who apparently never sought a government subsidy. More on this in a different post.

          Aren't all Jihadists Muslim? I do not see this as a religion of peace that should be treated as any other religion.

            ... not all Muslims are jihadists. We have believing Muslims in the Objectivist community-- or at least among "Ayn Rand Fans" -- just as we have Christians. Their contradictions are their own to deal with, but they are pretty much like the rest of us. I will be posting a book review about life in Cairo 1600 where Muslims, Jews, and Christians came together for trade and commerce. As I said, rational people of good will can be found in every society. Some societies thrive on that; others tolerate it implicitly; some try to stamp it out.
