Irish Cabinet Debates Whether To Accept Apple Tax Windfall

I love how EU says Ireland having low taxes not only gives the country an advantage but gives Apple and presumably its stakeholders an advantage. The EU says this situation must be stopped.

I wish they dug into whether all EU leaders agree or if there are some calls to embrace low tax policy for member countries that want it.

"EU said was basically getting away with paying a ridiculously little amount of taxes of taxes."

"Apple CEO, Tim Cook, called this all 'political crap'."

"EU is basically saying that [a low tax rate] gives Ireland an advantage over other EU countries, competing for comporate investment, and gives Apple an unfair advantage over other companies."

More leftist biased rubbish from NPR statist radio.
"If you were offered 14.5 billion dollars"
Whoa! Does it matter that it violates the contract that you agreed to? Does it matter that it's stealing?
No, that's not important. Not to manipulative socialist looters. All that matters is that you get the money and you just have to sacrifice your principles and do what the EU dictators tell you to do in the future. This is a frakking bribe of the worst sort and it's standard operating procedure for socialist looters in Brussels and in the Dark Center.
CG, you think NPR isn't biased? Listen to the slanted rubbish. It isn't a coincidence that they compare the amount of the tax to "Ireland's healthcare budget." This is no more than socialist propaganda at its worst, and that is the poisonous acid waste that NPR pumps out to destroy the audience's ability to reason every single day.

Squashing competition or at least the success of chosen losers and those not chosen, don't get a break.
So the EU is Not leveling the playing field, they are rigging the playing field to their own advantage.

Since the Irish Miracle crashed it might be their only way to stay solvent but if it would keep the money out of he hands of the government in Washington DC I'm for it. They are going to up our taxes directly or indirectly or by enhancement anyway.
