Remember the big push to using non fossil fuel burning alternatives. Here's an example of your resiration tax that got as far as the floor of the House of Representatives. 'Red' Ron Dellums Democrat Oakland California and no it wasn't his hair color driving across the Bay Bridge one day noticed the sail boats. Many had wind generators and solar panels. His reaction? Filing a Wind Tax back in DC because they weren't paying their fair share of the fuel tax.

That in mind and given the mindless set of the current socialist party I wouldn't be at all surrounded to see both (with an exemption for Congress)

Hello AJAshinoff,
I could almost support this is, if it applied only to the bloviating of statists on capitol hill. :)
Perhaps we could convince them that it would help reduce global warming. :)

I don't think it's very far off. We exhale CO2 therefore we are causing global warming. Humans are evil you know.
