Lead-Contaminated Water Leads to Blood Testing on Capitol Hill
Maybe the lead is eating away at our rulers brains?

It's been said that Lead poisoning contributed to the fall of Rome.

    It has long been said that Washington needed to get the lead out. However, that phrase was referring to their asses rather than their nervous system.It has long been known that liberalism is a mental disorder. With one exception, all my cousins are infected by it and the exception, was adopted. I'm sure that the infection is hereditary. The only reason I escaped the dread mental aberration is that I read the Fountainhead and later Atlas Shrugged. The more free market books I read the more I was immunized.

      That cracks me up...with a grin and a hardy laugh that just made everyone entering the building tilt their heads at me...thanks, I needed that.

      Expanding the minds influence over the brain and heredity is a healthy thing to do.

      Quantum entanglements are a natural function of existence and all life engages in them, conscious life does so purposely.

      Just where my heads been at lately...(update)
      that and realizing that "Evil" is the exact opposite of, to "live"; spelled backwards.

        The 7734 in my handle represents my birth date. Also, it is an old trick. Take any calculator, enter 7734, turn the calculator upside down, there's my final destination. At least, so my religious friends tell me.

          Don't think so buddy, I would imagine or at least my impression is that you have purposely engaged in quantum entanglements for purposes valuable for existence to continue. Those types of entanglements cannot be divorced nor occulted.
          That's the "something else" going on, that Roger Penrose keeps referring to.

              Laughing and I'll say again, it's not mystic, it quantum physic. It's hard to explain but I see this. Bolstering that little bit of resistance (the physical laws) that keeps things running smoothly. It's one's choice to engage or not, to reflect or not...choosing not may have adverse consequences if our minds are indeed part of the quantum world of existence. Like setting off on the wrong path in the woods, only to find the way out or back is not visible or occulted by the trees, the hills or the mountains.

                Actually, I am beginning to think that who or what created the universe would wait until some bright guy like Einstein, started to understand it, he/it would then gleefully change the rules. As a result, the universe or multiverse or versiverse continuously changes so man can never understand it.

                  That sure would be a laugh on us.
                  I think that existence is designed just like our bodies are but not in a living way, just functionally...hey if it works on a micro scale why not the macro.

                Quantum physics and politics have one thing in common. As Feynman said " If you think you understand it it's for sure that you don't". The principal goal of the professional politician is the acquisition and maintenance of power and it doesn't matter how you do that. Morals and ethics play no roll.

    After working in DC for 8 years and watching the sausage being made I always suspected that there was something in the water that made people stupid. Looks like I was right.

    On a serious note...I've seen blood and hair samples taken from kids. The results aren't good. They're very bad.

    In the coverage of the Flint issue I heard one, only one, commentator suggest that the lead levels could be a factor in the wild behavior we see from kids in those communities. In spite of going against the favored political blather, they had a very good point.

    Doesn't matter now, though. The nation's going into the toilet. We're too stupid to do something as simple as clean up the water.

        I call us "The 15%ers". 15% of the people can see cause and effect. I came up with that on my own over the past few years. Then, of all places, I heard it repeated in an interview of Farakhan - lol.

        It all comes back to cause and effect. And, almost nobody can see it. Pretty amazing to watch...

        I plan to watch it from a tropical beach far away, eventually. Hitlary will be the match that sets the septic tank ablaze...

    Ohhh, if only it were that simple. Remove the lead and the immoral corrupt regime becomes moral. Unfortunately the system is rotten and unlikely to respond to voting, intimidation or written complaints.

    I've witnessed lead poisoning in ancient Rome being discussed on the History Channel.
    Ancient Romans could not buy bottled water of which we have so many varieties.
    Me dino prefers bottled water and avoids drinking city water ever since I saw the sliver of a green leaf come out of the faucet about two decades ago.
    So with that in mind, I'd speculate that bad behavior in D.C. is more about power and greed corruption poisoning wherever ethics is found in the brain.

    That's a good thought, but unless lead has infused into their bodies their entire lives, I don't see how they could become so totally depraved in such a short time of ingesting lead. Of course, I am no doctor.

      They have been weighted, measured and found wanting...they are no longer wanted. They are the great unwashed.
      Just as "Live" and "Evil" are exact opposites spelled forward or backwards...so too have we been taught history in this same fashion.
