Reporters caught the Obama administration in a lie last week when it tried to say that the $400 million in Swiss Francs and Euros it sent to Iran were not part of a ransom.
In fact one of the four freed American captives confirmed the money was used exactly for that purpose.

What I would like to know is where does Obama get the authority to just hand over that kind of money to a bunch of terrorists who are our enemies? Where was Congress on this? I was of the understanding that they control the purse strings and therefore are the final authority. I had also understood that the policy of our government was not to deal with terrorists in any way.
