Director Comey's Actions On E-mails Now Understood

I was listening to the radio on the way home tonight. The commentator mentioned a “Breaking” news story from CNN. I almost changed the station. I’m glad I didn’t. The news item referred to an action by the FBI that occurred a little over a year ago. Several agents reacting to a tip of suspicious activity in a bank account started looking into the financial actions of a tax exempt/charitable foundation. They found evidence of criminal wrong doing on the part of the foundation. They proceeded to request a full investigation of the “criminal enterprise”. They asked the Justice department for authorization. It was denied.
The charitable Institution? The Clinton foundation. Having seen the action by the Justice Department on this case of financial misconduct, Comey apparently concluded that a referral on the e-mail investigation would result in the same action, Refusal to indict Thus the long presentation of facts and actions by the Director and then the statement that the FBI was not asking for an indictment.
It all makes much more sense now.
What do the citizens of the Gulch think?

Don't recall the source but it strikes me as true: You are not elected to be President, you are selected to be President.

Another thing: If Comey had recommended indictment, regardless of what he thought Lynch would do, it would have helped the FBI's reputation and would have put the responsibility of what came later on the Justice Department alone.

The pleasant face of democracy, pretending to be your friend and allow you a choice. Read about Teller's information on how to perform magic. Americans have lived in a tyranny for a long time, now it is blatant in its appearance and still is not shunned. I like what Mark Twain said; "If voting were really important and accomplished anything you would not be allowed to do it."

About 47% of the population would vote for Her Imperial Majesty if she was filmed eating a basket of kittens for breakfast, and admitted to employing Nigerian orphan children to build the ten-foot wall around her Imperial Palace in Chappaqua. There's just no getting around that; she's offering Free Stuff, and those voters want Free Stuff.

Indeed it does. How many tennis balls are hit for proficiency? How many baseballs are thrown? Firearm accuracy and proficiency is just the same. 1,000 rounds? Well of course I have a 1,000 rounds. Maybe in more than one caliber.

Shyster General Lynch’s tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton, was not merely infamous—it was illegal under 5 CFR 2635.101(b)(14). Lynch, prosecute thyself. Perhaps better: Lynch, lynch thyself.

The government’s excessive purchases of ammunition have been sufficient to conduct both a third and fourth world war without any need for further restocking. This serves two simultaneous goals toward diminution of Second Amendment intent: making ammunition unavailable and so expensive that only wealthy Americans can afford to purchase ammunition. Note that in order to use firearms most effectively, a person should practice with some regularity so as to maintain proficiency, lest rapid aim become enfeebled against criminals or tyrants. This obliges individuals to make purchases well beyond that necessary for a goodly personal stockpile of ammunition.

I believe that's one of the reasons for all of the ammo
purchases by various executive branch offices. -- j

This is just a complete confirmation of the fact they abuse is so bad, it is now clear and open in publkic, yet no one will puruse it. Maybe a Kicksttarter to raise money to sue the administration for High Crimes and misdemeanors and ask the whole cabinet to be removed and start over? No..that would just aloow another gang of crooks to enter. Seems like until it is outlawed for a politician to hold office, this sorry mess will continue, and become just that more blatant.

That could be interpreted to mean an endorsement of the Founding Fathers, who said in the founding document of our country:
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.— Such has been the patient sufferance ... and such is now the necessity ... a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny ...”

Just wait until Queen Hillary preserves the Second Amendment by leaving ownership of guns legal while outlawing the sale of all bullets.

If you compared your evaluation of the percentage of those wirth morals, values, standards, and ethics would the ratio be anything like the current difference in the polling numbers.

I have decided Ominous Parallels has one major difference between then and now. The current government leadership and their proposed replacements are playing both wrong sides

Just as the erased the difference betwen Reublicans and Democrats they are erasing the diffrence between National and International Socialism and still trying to blame the Constitution and the decent citizens of the Republic

It is incredible Clinton would get a single vote for president. She has told us she is a bad manager, does inside deals and trades government favors for money, and hides what she does. What else could a sane person need not to vote for her ????

Comey should have adhered to his own ethics and forced Lynch to either follow his recommendation or publicly back down from her public vow. He had an oath-of-office obligation to recommend prosecution based on his findings. The way he left it gave her license to lie about the facts he did present. Notice how the mainstream media have not once questioned her blatant denials of what he actually said and even when faced with a video of Comey's report, she claims he did not speak the words he did.

Okay, wait. AG Lynch said a few days before that she would accept and act on the FBI's recommendation. This after her infamous "tarmac" meeting with Bill Clinton. If Comey had really wanted an indictment, this would have been his golden opportunity to obtain one.

So, the DOJ in control of Obama and the Clintons has been turned into a Get Out Of Jail Free card. If the Clintons resume their residence in the White House, we can be assured that they will get away with anything and will not hesitate to do so. I would weep for my country but I have no tears left.

And the fact that he was afraid that he would end up like Vince Foster if he indicted.
