President Obama has done to Iraq what it took a Congress to do to Vietnam. And Hillary now thinks the world is better than it was?

If you make a mess clean it up. Zero just wanted out as fast as possible the hell with the consequences. For those that say defense is strictly defending US borders and think if we simply leave other alone they will leave us alone is naive at best.

This has been as inevitable as the rising sun. We have changed our "war policies" without debate or discussion after WW2. Prior to Korea, we did our best to fight a war to a conclusion where one side won and the losing side was finally forced to acknowledge that.

Somewhere between WW2 and Korea we stopped doing that. Korea ended with an armistice, not a peace treaty. Vietnam ended with a treaty after we had basically given up. Gulf War 1, was a limited action for a specific goal, which we achieved but did nothing to resolve anything else making the region unstable. No treaty or armistice there, just pushed them back to Iraq and stopped.

Everything after was not even aimed at specific governments, just the nebulous target, terrorists. Toppled goverments, were a side effect, a stepping stone as it were.

Is it any wonder nothing is settled?

Couple that with the wannabe dictator in the white house determined to weaken us in every way he can, and you see the results.

That and there are too many that vote one issue. They have one thing that drives them to the polls and they don't consider the damage being done.

Is it really better there?

There are still way too many voters that have no clue what is going on. They are way too involved in rooting for their favorite sports team to pay attention to the important stuff. :(

The word I get, is that the man we left in charge, brought this debacle on himself. He replaced good men, who might have been loyal, with cronies and hacks. I have no sympathy for a leader who does things like that.

What concerns me is that we have a (de facto) President determined to let all fossil fuels "stay in the ground," and who is making no effort to substitute a truly concentrated source of energy, like nuclear fuel, for fossil fuels. Bob Beckel, the token leftist on "The Five," called upon Obama to do this. But he will not.

I think Obama is making a long-range play for UN Agenda 21. Which calls for restricting human activity to about ten percent of the current land area, and forcing human beings to pack themselves into multi-level mixed-use sardine cans.

I wonder how many of his voters are disgusted vs how many even notice what he's doing, or care. This country would be in an uproar if they really realized what the hell he's done/doing. Too late is right. Idiots.

I don't think the administration cares about the mid terms anymore. They are focused on their goal. Weaken America and remove our influence around the world.

How the hell did we ever thing we'd make a difference over there in hell land anyway... they will never change, they've been the same for centuries, it's ingrained in them and very few escape it, and if they do they don't change their way of thinking and they go right back to the same living conditions all over again. The world is going to hell in a hand basket and too many aren't taking notice, or care. When they bring their shit HERE, where do WE escape to??? And bo wants out guns... WAKE UP AMERICA!

No doubt the evacuations will continue and escalate. Much like Vietnam, only this time the news footage, such as it is, will be Blackhawks instead of Hueys. A power vacuum will always be filled, one way or another.
