It's the low information voters, the socialists, the sensitive snowflakes, and the liberal media who want her in. We need to push back against them, but we aren't, which isn't much of a surprise because we never do.

I think Trump is being worked by Hillary into defending himself from constant attacks all the time. Getting attacked constantly is very hard on one's spirit. I feel very sorry for Trump actually. Turn on pretty much any of the media and it's always Trump this and Trump that. Not that I would ever even want to run for president, but if I was subjected to what Trump gets I would have told the ungrateful country to fu#% offl long ago

Maybe his way of staying motivated is to fight back by being very direct and vocal. I don't think he is this way in his business and isn't how he would act as president

Hillary is a lying, manipulative, conniving, and power hungry excuse for a human being. Future performance CAN be predicted by past performance in her case.

I want a good administrator to efficiently and honestly run the bureaucracy without hiding behind email servers and political correctness. I want foreign countries to know we respect them by being honest and really do stand for freedom consistently

Our goal SHOULD be to make this place great again. trump is not perfect, but look how bad Obama has been already and Hillary swears to carrying that legacy mixed with panderings to sanders.

A lot of what trump says I have to agree with. Things like honoring the soldiers who DIDNT get captured as POWs. The POWs didn't sacrifice - they were captured by more effective enemy soldiers

Fallen soldiers didn't "sacrifice" (as if sacrifice is some sort of holy thing). They were killed In an attempt to kill opposing soldiers and they got killed first. Call a spade a spade. Most of the wars fought by the USA we shouldn't have been in anyway

Not much to debate here, I have a deep aversion to HillaryBeast, to the point I can believe she is the Antichrist of lore. She creeps me ut like someone who knows many secrets and grins knowing they are putting one over everyone. I equate her look to the movies of all the bad guys. The fact she has escaped seemingly impossible situations no one else could is also so suspicious. Trump just wins by default. I hate to see him lose though because he cannot resist having the last word. Example: O'Rielly was trying to educate him on political realities, and Trump just barges in to lecture him on how bad the Times is, how they are going bankrupt, and how they hate him, when it had no direct connection to the subject. He tends to have to have a comeback to almost anything, can't let something lie. The Beast knows this and her gang of thugs are playing on it to the hilt. He will be regarded as the village idiot before election if he does not wake up and get smarter on the mouth running on autopilot. I think a majority agree with him, and are being driven away by his mouth.

Somewhat surprised that we have not heard of the Russians getting a tour of our ballistic missile defense facilities and a couple of souvenir keys.

NWO, one world government seems to be a running theme with these humanoids throughout history...but never even once, has anyone understood that we could have that if the "People" were empowered to be the best they could be. Not once, until America came along, have the People been Allowed...to be good. ( until that regressive, dormant vial gene reared it's ugly head again with teddy and woodie)

It is so obvious, that these creatures that want to rule all are not at all like us...they can't be human, nor conscious.

The arrogance it must take to think that you must oppress the individual to progress.

No borders , no income tax , no hate-mongers, no wars , a free capitalistic economy , that would be a NWO I could support.

But in order to have a new world Order...is to have order, respect of private property and everyone, at least, at some Conscious stage to be able to modify their own behavior.

For those who would like a golden rule, the negative version of it, 'don't do to others what you do not like', is much less intrusive and more in the line of the non initiation of force principle. It does not ask to 'do to others'. It is more of a governing rule since government is a negative feedback on a society to keep everyone from having to spend too much time and effort in protecting there lives and property (questionable without some social guide as to ownership other than a weapon).
It's time for everyone to read 'The God of the Machine' by Isabel Patterson (circa 1943 and one of the supporters of capitalism during the red decades and a friend of Rand's and somewhat of her mentor on politics at the time) and though a conservative, gives a very good discussion of the necessity of government from a mechanical-physical aspect with only a minimal reference to Christianity as the basis for a condition necessary for the formation of the USA.

Since I am just using a memory from several decades ago, the negative form may have come from 'Without Guilt and Justice' by the philosopher Walter Kaufmann who coined the word 'humbition' as a combination of humility and ambition. At the time I believe that his most popular book was 'Faith of a Heretic', which if memory has not failed me, had an interesting discussion between Satin, a Christian, and an atheist.

Actually the negative form was from Hillel(?) a rabbi contemporary with Jesus, assuming he was a historic person. But the golden rule had been floating around in many forms before then.

I sadly agree. it's likely to happen Nickursis. Issues like immigration , defense , terrorism Concerns for our national security. Rather than a reasonable response from our elected officials. What we get is the most unreasonable , ridiculous policy but always expect an even more insane solution to be offered as an alternative , allowing the first to be adopted.
Hard to explain the avoidance of consciousness and intelligence in this Information Age other than
the bullying the labeling the censuring of those who are thoughtfully conscious.
        Good evening to you.

Yes, there is definitely something going on. People seem to expect you to just take what they want to give you, and you should feel blessed they have deigned to do so. There is an air of arrogance in most connections, business and political where companies feel their customers owe them, and the polticos seem to have the same attitude. I find it is also true in a lot of personal interactions and will fire off when I run into it. I am currently in a issing contest with a realtor, who feels that showing a house 5 or 6 times in 3 months, then when we did get an offer, not one property we had vetted was still available, and what is available is basically double overpriced crap. We are telling her we cannot sell under these circumstances and trade a nice property in for a crappy one with little change in overall debt, as the prices are way too high for what you get. She cannot understand this, and seem to think we should do something crazy like rent or just take what we can find, just so her valuable time isn't wasted. However, had she worked from the get go to help us find a replacement and secure it, there would not be an issue, but that kind of effort is apparently too much to ask for. So, off we go, and will be blacklisted by all the realtors (who al;so blacklisted us when we were trying to sell it ourselves, as we had offered 1% (about 4500) just for a referral, and we had several people call to ask us why their realtor would not give them the info on it.

Sorry, my wife does not go east of the cascades. Besides, the weather in Oregon is probably the best, no real storms, thunder lightning, wind or flooding, unless you buy into land next to a river or stream, and even then you can engineer it out. While I like a good thunderstorm, my wife does not. Our realto has seen the light and is now adding an addendum to include us needing a suitable replacement for the sale to go thru, so we continue to search. The real problem is finding something that is usable and you can get a loan on, rural land is the hardest thing to finance, yet seemingly constantly goes up in value, so you would think it more secure as an asset than a house alone.

Rural land requires infrastructure , water , access ,
Sometimes at an unexpected cost. There is also a smaller market to consider. Which reduces liquidity.

Our realtor has 80 acres for 800K, that has had 8 wells drilled in it with 0 water. Hasn't changed the price one bit. Virtually useless property. There is a distinct disconnect between real value vs percieved value. Because the percieved value is a combination of what people will pay (real spending) and what people want, the actual value keeps climbing as people come up with more and more money to play with. CA is an excellent example, houses that should run 100-200K can go for a million or more.

Something rotten in Moscow? You bet. It has been since the early years of the 20th century, when communism turned Russia's economy into a Yugo. As usual, all collectivist societies only exist so that a group of elites can live like the royalty they "hate" (make that envy) and everyone else lives in crap even worse than under the czar. Why be surprised that the kind of evil persons that operate Russia might be duplicitous?

Just relate the story of Mussolini. when he was the chief of the Italian Socialist Party, asking Lenin how to explain Marxist economics. He stated he couldn't teach what he himself didn't understand.

Lenin answered ,"You don't teach it you preach it.'

May or may not have happened but the idea was put forward by Italian Fascist Theorist Giuseppe Boltai decreed socialism and fascism would be the new civil religion. and advanced the notion of preaching not teaching. The idea was used throughout the socialist world regardless of type of socialism.

Maybe what these universities need are more teachers and less preachers.

The key ingredient missing in marxist leninist socialism and it's offshoots in China, the fascist development of Italy and Germany even the Wilson FDR version in the USA is plain old ordinary human nature. Embodied in the soviet workers slogan 'they pretend to pay us we pretend to work.'

Indeed, the workers will always eventually figure out they are getting screwed, it is the rest of the sheeple, especially those who do not work, but pretend to work (many, many times in cubicles) that never seem to figure it out...

They have no incentive to do so. The story of the food stamps that evoked no interest whatsoever is solid proof. Three States now require work for food stamps. All three saw an increase in people leaving the program to work and a decrease in people on the program. Proof positive that a. there are jobs and b. people would rather work than starve but if they aren't starving they see no point in working. One program only aimied at single people and did not stop assistance to those with children. but a massive decrease in people on welfare. Maine was one and California was one i forget the other it is buried uip in the New posts area probably a week or so old.

People can screw up anything, even capitalism. However, the very mechanism of communism is such that makes it impossible to work. Just one example will illustrate it. Jack and Joe work on an assembly line. They both make the same wage as do all workers. Jack assembles 50 gadgets an hour, Joe only assbles 25 per hour. Jack doesn't get more for doing a better job. After a while Jack wonders why he should knock himself out for no more money, so he takes it easy by only assembling 25 gadgets per hour. Multiply by all the good workers and you know why the Soviet 5 year plans never worked. If, however, you give Jack a raise, you've taken your first step toward capitalism.

Exactly. I tried to explain it somewhat differently but same structure. My son (who is an E7 in the Army) seems to think he can find a perfect population of people to be these happy drones, and I can't get him to see there are always the bottom feeder and the elites who think they are better in every crowd, and they will upset the boat.

Looks as if he's going to need to experience more of life. I had a similar problem with a grandchild. My solution? Shut up and wait for them to ask or start the discussion. Answer truthfully and without rancor. move on. Let life beat them up a bit, and perhaps that will illuminate them. If not, que sera, sera.

Yea, the site I went to had 4 different spellings for each word...I thought Swedish was Swedish, Period but apparently there is several different ways of saying something.

I could see that some of the Swedish words were kind of a bad pronunciation of English...like the word Get to Goat and Du to You

Turns out that English has the most words and concepts and easily adds concepts from other languages...in the article I read on the subject they included French (romance languages) to the list of the best languages. As Julian Jaynes observed and has since been accepted, is that it was language that started the whole process of becoming consciously aware of self.
Most of the world has not achieved consciousness to date and perhaps, that's why we can't communicate our concepts with them.
