A situation of sexual unbalance in a field of employment is not a problem and does not require any action to find a supposed solution.
Today, there are women working driving taxis, trains, and 100-ton payload heavy haul trucks. They did have to study for the licenses and tickets, apply for the job, not just complain.
Any such unbalance would be -except in very rare instances- not a matter of physique, intellect, or aptitude but due to attitude, more so in those who give advice than in women themselves.
(Hey, I have the pleasure of disagreeing with both H and Maph in one comment!),

Not exactly sure how you're disagreeing with me...?

My "augh" with the issue is that they conclude that it's society to blame why women don't go into IT, rather than... hey, maybe women just don't *want* to go into IT?
