Johnson's poll numbers may rise further following the Republican and Democrat convention fiascos.

Although the survey was not a scientific poll with a margin of error, it provides a snapshot of the preferences of about 3,500 active duty, reservists, retired and former members of the military and their family members, 95.7 percent of which were registered voters.

This survey was not solely active duty troops. it said so right in the article.

You are claiming more authority for this poll than it has.

Whether a poll actually has any useful meaning is determined by the methodology, this one does not meet that test.

You see the projected (best wishes) electoral maps. He could do 99 to 161 electoral votes - more than enough to create a hanging chad election and send it to the house to be decided.
    The media would love that.

I'll bet, if the media thought that could happen, they'd cover Gary Johnson more to help encourage just that outcome.

That appears to be a group that the owners of the Gulch site should be actively pursuing.
