There is no new crisis in central america. If you notice how it has been the last two-to-three years that there has been an explosion of for this pattern of unaccompanied children coming across the border, you can easily see this is tied to states approving the Dream Act. Adult family members who were already working here illegally that had been sending money back home are now sending for the minors to come live here to get on the free education bus. You think they are going to tell the truth about when these children came here? I wouldn’t. I would fight for my kid. Having a child in your home also shields you somewhat since the welfare of the children is being protected by the Feds.

This is the unattended consequence of the Dream Act. It led to more breaking the laws to come here.

It isn’t rocket science to figure out we have to fix the border FIRST, before creating laws to help those that are already here. You don’t go to less than ten thousand kids to over a hundred thousand kids crossing the border in one year without a catalyst. It is the Dream Act. These kids are not fleeing refugees.

Oh sure, let's fire the people that enlighten the rest of us to the truth, to the facts. Reminds my of Mr. Hicks getting fired (reassigned) for testifying. What happened to the others that made it out from Benghazi? I'm just astounded how obvious 'they' are in this administration, and how many don't even care, and that nothing is done about anything.

Today it seems that you need photos or video to support what you are saying, but the truth makes you the criminal for exposing it.

'Life is so bleak. No prospects. I think I'll just have a few or a lot of kids. Now I hear America will take them all in so I send them away. ' I can't see the nobility here. What is really going on? The Central America countries where they come from have a lot of work to do and I doubt they will do it if a large part of the burden is gone. It is a sad thing but not our responsibility. People will help but what can we effectively do when the system is overrun?

We sure as hell don't need new laws, old laws, or any laws that *help* people in the country illegally... except for laws that facilitate their departure.

I wouldn't be so hard on the parents. Most of them know that their homeland situation isn't going to get much better anytime soon, and want better for their children. It was much the same in the 19th/early 20th centuries. There was quite a bit of indentured servitude of youth. They would be nannies, cooks, stablehands, etc. and work off their passage to the US. Many were sent by their parents with little hope that they would ever see them again, but with the hope that they would have a better life.

That said, letting these children in with little hope other than to be wards of the state, growing up with dependence on the state and expecting the state to take care of them for the rest of their lives is not what either their parents wanted for them, nor what the earlier parents received for their children. This is a travesty and is being done seemingly with the sole intention of creating a totally dependent class.

Making all that effort to get them into CPS in the US?...talk about "out of the frying pan and into the fire"! The coyotes are the least of their worries.

This is a humanitarian crisis. That's probably one reason why they want to cover it up. It's only kids (sarcasm).
