I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch...Have been a fan of A.S. since college and have read it 4-times since 1957. I received the 25th anniversary edition as a gift from my kids (who are also fans). I served over 20-years as an Artillery officer and have seen most of the more interesting places in the world (and a couple I would sooner forget!). I've seen socialism in action elsewhere and we certainly do not want it here.
