Well, for every move, a counter move. Apparently, socialists think they can take everything, and then whoever they have to deal with outside their fantasy world has to play nice. I guess Citibank has decided they can't calculate Venezuela's inflation fast enough to stay ahead. Maybe we need to gather all these article about how "successful" socialism is, and send them to the Beast.

He's basically saying he's indignant that the bank isn't helping willing buyers connect with willing sellers through wire transfers. I understand his position on this. When we wire to Latin America, it sometimes takes one day, and sometimes 15 buisiness days, and while it's at the "correspondent financial", it's in a black hole, very difficult for my local bank to get explanations for the delay or ETA. Vendors complain they don't have their money, and all I can say is we don't have it either.

It's ironic to hear Maduro complain about it, though, since their whole gov't philosophy is about keeping willing buyers and sellers apart. Socialists don't like it when it affects them.

Well, part of that reason is they want to control everything, so they will deliver your money when they damn well decide to. My take is Citibank does not want to do business in that manner, as they have a lot riding on their reputation, and Maduro and his gang want to control all of it, so that means they get stuck with the crappy reputation. Like you said, 1 day or 15 it doesn't matter to looters. So they make it out in HillarBeast fashion as a vast right wing conspiracy, so the people get manipulated into a US vs THEM mindset, and a bunch of them always fall for it. Same thing in the US.
