E-Mails Matter

The recent shootings in Dallas have overshadowed the recent e-mail debacle of Mrs. Clinton, and the way she has gotten off the hook. I came across a description by the late Vince Flynn of how really serious classified documents can be, particularly when they relate to clandestine activities, in which the Secretary of State would have knowledge.

"The e-mails could possess hundreds of names, and those names represent real people who are assets of the CIA. Some of them are Americans, deep cover operatives who are operating in foreign countries without the aid of diplomatic cover. If these people are exposed, the likelihood is that they'd be killed. And then there are the agents -- the men and women who work for foreign governments. They come in every stripe from politicians to bureaucrats, to scientists, to financiers, to military personnel, to intelligence operatives
and janitors and secretaries. More than any
satellite or listening device, these men and women are the eyes and ears of the CIA.They offer snippets of information that when pieced together aid in understanding the intent of our foes and sometimes, when needed, the ability to predict their next move."

Merely writing off the "lost" e-mails as if they were of no significance is Clinton's biggest lie of all.

Those books may be fiction but they are most definitiely based on facts and the party involved was and is immaterial.

    LOL!
    You know...
I am old and I think of these "young leftists"
as holding to the "explorer's premise" Perhaps they don't have the extra $120 to fly for 15 minutes.
    Hmmm...
    You are probably right. 😉

When Carter and Company decided to FOI a lot of things without checking part of it was a list of foreign agents working for us n the human intelligence arena.

Of those left alive none will make the mistake of trusting the US Government anymore.

Of those of us who rememer that shameful episode none would allow the real names by any sources tp be lmpwm by official US Government sources ever again. I'm surprised the families of some of them if they are still living haven't whacked people like Carter a;long time ago. His Secret Service Detail must be triple strength and working constant overtime.

My sister agrees with you, but given that he is coming off a character of his own who has a sense of humor, I think that he did a good job.

Very true. Only someone who holds the "explorer's premise" would take that flight.

However, neither one of us was looking for an official poll....just a possible consensus.

Before giving up on Kyle Mills, try his other books. He has a series with a FBI agent that I think is pretty good.

I beg to differ. The first half of the latest book was slow going for me, although it picked up later. It simply didn't read like Flynn's work at all and did not get inside the lead character's mind.

Just review BHO's pronouncements and you'll see that anyone to the right of Marx is a greater threat than terrorists.

To a Hillary supporter, Conservatives, Republicans, Gulchers, etc. pose more of a threat to the country than all the terrorists and global warming combined. And they think that we are evil!

Was it Barnum or some politician who said that it was a mistake to ever underestimate the stupidity of the American electorate? I am a bit sheepish to invoke it, because I would prefer to admire the intelligence of the American People, but just a few viewings of the Watter's World segments on O'Reilly are enough to make you wonder.

That wasn't exactly a national survey.
Plus, you might ask yourself as to who takes those expensive helicopter rides when they could be throwing their money away at the tables.

After his first election, we were in Las Vegas taking a helicopter flight over the new Tillman Bridge site.
All of the folks working there had been asking if any of the passengers had voted for O...
The owner said that so far (it was March by then) he had polled all of his passengers and NOT ONE had voted for him.

Makes you wonder who counts the votes, doesn't it?

(taking out my conspiracy card again)

I agree with your husband. I can definitely see the occupant of that address doing what he can to stir things up.

I don't remember any of the specific websites, but over the past year or so I've seen what some would call wild speculation that he will do what he can to stir things up as much as possible, invoke some kind of martial law, and postpone the 2016 election, leaving himself in power.

I don't necessarily buy into that, but I definitely can't--and won't--dismiss it, either. Every single action this guy takes in situations like this points to keeping trouble alive, not quieting it down.

And then I remember this quote:

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” — Barack Obama, October 30, 2008

Invoking martial law sure would be a good way to continue his transformation, no?

    (putting the card away again).

I still can't believe this guy got elected. I REALLY can't believe he got re-elected.
