E-Mails Matter

The recent shootings in Dallas have overshadowed the recent e-mail debacle of Mrs. Clinton, and the way she has gotten off the hook. I came across a description by the late Vince Flynn of how really serious classified documents can be, particularly when they relate to clandestine activities, in which the Secretary of State would have knowledge.

"The e-mails could possess hundreds of names, and those names represent real people who are assets of the CIA. Some of them are Americans, deep cover operatives who are operating in foreign countries without the aid of diplomatic cover. If these people are exposed, the likelihood is that they'd be killed. And then there are the agents -- the men and women who work for foreign governments. They come in every stripe from politicians to bureaucrats, to scientists, to financiers, to military personnel, to intelligence operatives
and janitors and secretaries. More than any
satellite or listening device, these men and women are the eyes and ears of the CIA.They offer snippets of information that when pieced together aid in understanding the intent of our foes and sometimes, when needed, the ability to predict their next move."

Merely writing off the "lost" e-mails as if they were of no significance is Clinton's biggest lie of all.

    Nah.
It's a male ego thing. It's a machismo thing. In my case after 61 years, I have tried to surpress it, with rather poor results.

    That's because I'm quite old.
One of the things I liked about him was his fascination with languare and puns. He did a skit about a baseball team manager who was interviewing a very Dracula-like character. Turns out the fellows was confused. He thought the manager wanted a vampire when he really wanted an umpire.

I loved Steve Allen's retort to "Whippersnapper." "If you're not careful, I'll snap your whipper."

Oh, that's funny...at any time that you thought of it.

It's been on and off for my computer several times a day. Computer geek son is to come and lay his hands on my laptop some time this week.

Oddly, I live in the heart of a liberal Democrat area here in the People's Republic of NY and none of my coworkers voted for Obummer, either.

Imagine if there had been a Hillary with access to the super secret enigma decrpyts during WWII and demonstrated in some fashion with the communications of the day the same disregard for intelligence clearance?

You think the word TREASON may have come up?

Flynn had three things going for him: He was a good researcher. He was a good writer. He hated politicians.
