The infrastructure of having the honor of being able to say "I'm an American", not to mention all that hard work the Secretary of State puts in... Oh yeah, let's not forget Supporting our national homeland security here and abroad, and our monitoring of everyone else (including expats) in every foreign country... I'm certain that a large chunk of our tax dollars go to pay for that boondoggle... Then of course, there's presidential vacations in Africa to pay for, scandals to cover up, etc. etc. etc... Must be FAR more important than paying our servicepeople anything close to more than a sub-poverty wage for their service...

Nice question -- but totally out in left field. You are trying to use reason and logic, neither one of which work with these folks. The administration doesn't give a rat's furry butt what infrastructure you are using -- or anything else for that matter. You make money, they will take it, end of story. They will use whatever lie they need to in order to do so.

(You know a Freudian slip? Well, I intended to type "line" above, but for some reason the "n" didn't show up. When I re-read it, "lie" just seemed so right, I congratulated my right index finger for dropping the "n," and went on...)
