I saw this article, thought about posting, but then I said...it's just a little rock...not exactly what you'd call a moon.

If we can call the climate changing, global warming, then I guess that we can call a rock a moon.

Any celestial object of a certain size that circuits a planet is a moon. I seem to recall it has to do with the ability of the two to stay in close proximity and not, for example, allowing other objects to exert superior influence such as the sun over riding the effect of the earth and attracting Moon II but not to make it a planet but destroy it as an asteroid OR sling shot it into another trajectory to another destination. Moon Two would then become Moon T for Temporary.but if taking the final dive into the sun ExiT for Elvis left the Solar System.

The recently rediscovered 9th planet discovered by Cal-tech astronomers who were trying to debunk the existence of a 9th planet. Can you say Nibiru? The more we learn the more accurate the cuneiform tablets of Ancient Sumarian history become.

Maybe that's what the ancients thought or perhaps that's what the NWO wants us to think.

By all descriptions, planet X had a extreme oval orbit and it's return would be unpredictable and to beat the band, it was thought that it's inhabitants, likely the Annuniki _(fallen idiots) screwed up and needed gold for their atmosphere...I predicted that IF there was any validity to this, it's more likely their planet was destroyed due to their stupidity.

Like the way you put that...
The book of Enoch is likely accurate but we can't prove it. The only evidence we have that any of it might be true is the skeletal remains of the Neferim.

It's interesting to note: some of the Sumerian tablets seem to say, we were created as a slave race for the Annuniki... Now here's what's interesting...we acended into consciousness but they never were...they were barbaric idiots whom fell favor to our sons, daughters and our animal kingdom...IF we are to believe the story.

In short, Put a BIG question mark beside that story before it enters one's subconscious. No sense running off the rails with it without definitive evidence.

Definitely, the stories are filled with questions but the evidence of some validity is mounting. The elongated skulls , the bird men , the gold mines some 100000+ years old in So. Africa.. The representation of planets on the sculptures not to be rediscovered for several thousand years.
It is all fascinating and much evidence recently destroyed by Isis and other looters in Iraq.

One of the most fascinating facts to come out of this is the emergence of Venus into our solar system...Mankind witnessed this and was obviously present as the earths orbit and position shifted in our solar system....think that might have changed not just our environment; physically and electrically but also played a role in our mental evolution? I would say...it's highly probable...

Go read "We have never been Alone". It is a scientific, incredibly well detailed and referenced theory that explains why we have religion and how we got here, as well as why. A very well referenced theory that makes a whole lot of sense.

now, this is good. . we can practice flying to the moon
with one another, and if we miss, we might still have
    a chance at a heavenly meeting! -- j

So, how does the pull of gravity prevent the object from getting any closer than 38 times the distance to the moon? I can buy that gravity prevents it from getting further than 100 times that distance. I'm no astrophysicist, but there has got to be more to the explanation of the behavior. And please, no analogies with romance!

I believe you have to look at gravity as a force of attraction, it can apply so much force at a time. Then you have to add the momentum, so as it comes closer, it also has the motion it carriers that acts like an opposite force to curve it away. So, with it's size, gravity cannot exert enough force to overcome it's angular velocity, so the speed actually overcomes that pull and curves it away. Same thing happens at the furthest point and gravity wins over velocity.

I was thinking along these same lines as well. I just wish they had explained it a bit better in the article. I suppose there is no friction in space to gradually reduce that orbital velocity and cause orbital decay? But, I wonder if the moon has any gravitational influence on the object. Need a physics prof now.

As long as no other force acts upon it, it will retain it's orbit. The moon and earth have variations, so it will gradually change it, but it will be a long time. There is always the chance it will smack something else along the way, which also changes the game.

So, the Earth, like its inhabitants, is following the same path we follow. Mainly, getting a little on the side. This new moon is younger, thinner and loves to dance. Who can blame the Earth for having a little fling. Of course, that's what we say when we get caught. Just ask Bill, he can explain it.
