this is a national crisis being inflicted on us by both
political parties, and Amarillo is particularly desperate.
91 percent on food stamps and 74 percent on medicaid?

Oh, OK, then that justifies everything.
We have a lot of desperate workers around, they try to get a competitive edge and get the promotion.

Hey Dino , sorry about your dad I am sure on Father's Day that you will have sadness and
    Fine memories of him.

Mom and Dad live in Compass Lake in the Hills
And my wife and I have property there as well

They have lived ther for 20 years . He retired from the volunteer fire dept 4 years ago at age 80.
They were more frightened Friday then when Opal went through.
Last time I was ther was 4 years ago for a week
When visiting we went to Wallakula Springs
This is where one of my all time favorite films Scene was shot. It was from
The creature of the Black Lagoon the scene
With the creature and the starlet in a underwater Ballet.
That place reminded me of tarzans lair , it must Be like your past home..
I'm sure my dad would love to meet an old Dino
    When you visit there.

Your folks should know where Compass Lake is a little farther down 231. Guess maybe you do too.
I live in Pleasant Grove beside Birmingham but usually once a year I pass through Alford to and from a family reunion most summers.
Didn't happen last summer due to my father dying in Tennessee and being buried beside my mother in Dothan.
A member of the Dothan Boat Club, my dad was the first to have a house built on the north side of that lake's larger portion when my age was in single digits. 231 used to run past within sight of that lake before it became a four-lane.
That side is now densely housed but I summer time grew up in what looked like an old Tarzan movie.
I was once a pretty good water skier (even on shoe skies) but now I'm just a fat old dino with type 2 diabetes.
My dad left five sons. Two of my brothers now own that Compass Lake property
The two others and me were recently handsomely paid off for letting them have it all by an estate tied in with my dad's will.
I'm going to ask one of my owner brothers about that storm. I spent half of Friday with my power out as did parts of the Birmingham area after a nasty thunderstorm rolled through.

It's beyond me how making Muslims so special became PC. Supreme Court Justice Elewna Kagan thinks allowing Sharia Law for Muslims to follow in the USA is peachy keen. Guess that's why she became an Obama appointee.

I find it interesting that Obama seems to have two current goals.
    1. He wants to disarm the country.
    2. He wants to bring in all the Muslims
from the middle East he can.
He does want to change this country !

I wonder if it would not be cheaper to send him over there and let him disarm them.

First of all, I do hope you are referring to the two factions of the Big Government Party (the GOP establishment and the Democrats), because the “other” party (Libertarians) are not doing this. Then comes the question of what to do? I don’t have the answer, but it seems to me they should go to other Arab nations.

How do the do-gooders explain their tolerance for Muslims when that "faith" would bring women's rights back to the 8th century. Same goes for Hillacrap Klinton and her ostracizing and blaming Little Willies victims.

Sorry Emma, we only got parasites, murderers, and rapists right now... and a lot of them. Good luck.

Amarillo is the paradigm of the future if Obama and Clinton have their way. Remember the little Dutch boy? The one who stuck his finger in the dike and saved the country from a flood? When it comes to illegal immigration, and the influx of refugees, we'd each need a thousand fingers and it wouldn't be enough. We are being flooded with non vetted people who will, after a sort while, change the very fabric of what was once our nation. Soon, the Lady Liberty in New York Harbor will not lead to a shining city on a hill, but to a garbage dump.

I think Lazarus would add a few more stipulations if penned today.

I think it is ridiculous that refugees get from MY tax dollars what costs me $1,300/month of my hard earned money to get...

The refugee importation is not for humanitarian reasons. It's a blatant effort to fundamentally change America. Obama: The Audacity of Deceit

While there is a problem settling more refugees than the Federal government keeps shoving down the throats of local communities, the article has a couple of things wrong. First, the hostage taker was a legal immigrant from Iran, and he wasn't Muslim. He was just a desperate worker down on his luck, passed over for a promotion that could have made the difference between getting out of debt and poverty.

Just unbelievable isn't it...it used to take 10 years of good behavior to gain citizenship... now for some it's immediate and others...never!

A friend from Holland has been here and has worked for Ecolabs as a producer for 17+ years.
But he can't get citizenship. He is the wrong color.
