Elizabeth Warren cut down by the Cherokee Nation

I am glad they are standing up and defending their heritage. My uncle is a full blooded Stockbridge Indian and I am proud that he was part of family for a number of years. Him and my aunt divorced but I still call him Uncle. It pains me that people are willing to claim false heritage to further their career. I admit I am pure Polish but am proud to know a number of Native Americans. I hope Warren is put in her place, view the video and read the article and please, pass it on so we can continue to expose her hypocrisy.

Opposing one lying looter politician is good, but it doesn't solve the problem. All high level politicians of the GOP and Dems are corrupt. They retain control even when one or two are outed.
The thinking must change from a naive unsupported belief that there are a few bad apples to the rational thinking that the entire system is corrupt because it concentrates central power as the constitution obviously was meant to prevent.
Stop producing more than the minimum level required to survive and starve the system. Stop consuming all except absolute necessities.
    Strike.
Do exactly the opposite of what the ruling elite wants.

I think you are right actually. Its hard to strike, but its the right thing to do. It means giving up the advances that have been made in living standards, unless we can find a place to be productive and NOT support the statists.
Do you think Liberland will actually make it?

I don't think it would take a long time for changes to be promised, but actual changes would be slow coming. Still, most people would not suffer that much from the strike until companies started laying off workers as a result. Then the resolve of the strikers would be severely tested and voluntary charitable support from other strikers would be essential.
I can't think of any reason that the statists would allow Liberland to be established unless they thought it could be easily crushed by the banking cartel and be able to blame capitalism and free markets.

Look at Venezuela- people have left, businesses have closed, electricity is only partially on, food is hard to get, transportation is spotty. And the people still support Maduro. And he is promising nothing, and delivering less. Dont you think that would happen here too?

Perhaps a colony (cult) could be formed in a remote place (kind of like a gulch), where quietly a number of people could "start over"- trading amongst themselves in some sort of organized way. But not being vocal about it in order NOT to have the establishment come down on them. I am only brainstorming here, but I am done paying into a system that then uses my money to take away my freedom

I did not say to go back to bear skins and stone knives. Demand for necessities (like food) would be unchanged and that includes most of the commodities in shortages in Venezuela. No, I am not talking about cutting off your aircon and heat, but electric utilities would be hurt later by a reduction of retail business activity. I do not think most of the traffic in US malls is in necessities and malls would be hard hit very quickly in a consumer strike. That would effect retail real estate prices soon therafter. Shipments from China would drop severely and overseas manufacturing would be hurt very badly.
Restricting essential purchases to locally made goods would reduce the immediate effect on local businesses who are not at fault for feeding the lobbyists. Local businesses might even band together to use local script for local purchases... at least until the federal jackbooted goons invaded (which would cause even more outrage and support for the strike.)
Reduction in business activity will have a very startling effect on tax collection for both the fed and the state.

But shrugging means shrugging. Like becoming a track walker like Galt. I would have to shut down my business, because to continue it I would have to pay taxes and support the very system that is killing me.

You could do the consumer strike, encourage your employees to participate, and refuse any business that supported the system, e.g., state and fed government business.
There is a section in Unintended Consequences that comes to mind about the difficulty of recruiting people. If people accept that principles matter and that they must starve the state in a limited way then things will change faster than you think.

In a way, I am shrugging by moving assembly to China (no payroll taxes) and buying parts and assemblies from there too (no payroll taxes for even upper management people). Increasing automation also helps too in reducing the income to the government, although Nevada charges property tax on all machinery

I know they are all corrupt, I had the misfortune of working in Mordor back in the late 80's. I worked secure communications maintenance and setups, so I had to work with a bunch of these bozos. I was the guy who explained everything they had to do, how to operate it and how to manage it. Because of my job I interfaced with a lot of political bigwigs who did not know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. They were clueless and still pulled in lots of taxpayer bucks, definitely more than I was earning as a lowly E-6.

What I like about Trump is that he speaks his mind, regardless of political correctness. This gets the truth out to be seen by everyone, but it brings the topics up for discussion and rational action. The alternative hasnt worked so well (Obama and Hillary Clinton and GW Bush too actually)

Jim you and I have a kinda something in common. Both sides of my parentage originated in Poland. But further than that, through a close friend, a full-blooded Ojibway Indian, (Sorry, Native American) I was brought into the tribe and made a blood brother. I experienced a sweat lodge and an itty-bitty knife cut and was given my Indian name based on my sweat lodge hallucination. With all of that, I would never claim to be a Native American. (Besides, I might have had just a few too many adult beverages that evening.)

Unfortunately, Ms. Warren has been called out on this before. And it's from turning logic on its head. Instead of her having to prove a lineage to the native people, it's the non-believers who have to show how she isn't related. And until such proof is forthcoming, she can keep pulling out this being Native American claim.

Exactly. You can't prove a negative, and in a rational world it should be up to her to prove her claim. OTOH, and I'm no scientist so this is an assumption, but I believe a simple DNA test could prove/disprove her claim. Anyone think she'd volunteer?

One thing I cannot stand, is a liar. And especially a fraud. That's what Elizabeth Warren turned out to be. Kudos to the Cherokees for calling her on it.

I am with you Temlakos. The American public generally speaking accepts the fact the politicians
Lie but I would fire her for being untrustworthy . I long for "I chopped down that Cherry tree".

Sadly, we have no historical warrant for that story. We do have this story that shows George Washington's character as an adult. He officially laid down his Continental Army command after he could be sure of the Treaty of Paris. That act alone shook the civilized world--whoever heard of the commander of an army, even an army of liberation, laying that command down when he had his chance to stay in power for life! On the other hand, Washington personally led an army against the Whisky Rebels. He thus became the first, last, and only President of the United States actually to lead troops on campaign and into battle.

Indians were a lot smarter than we give them credit for. They learned to live in harmony with the land, which is something that Elizabeth Warren CERTAINLY does not know how to do. She is an arrogant and manipulative socialist at heart, and is therefore my enemy. I wonder how long she would have lasted in an indian tribe doing what she does.......

I've been waiting for an opportunity to combine Trump's name for Lying Lizzy (hey, I just made that 'un up) to my version. I present~

    Pocahontas Woo--woo--woo--warren.

As Wednesday Addams said just after she destroyed a goody two-shoes summer camp in a film sequel, "My work here is done."

This is what many politicians do to be relected to office they'll steal the heritage of their constituency to gain identification and votes to be relected over and over again. Many politicians have disinfranchised voters for so long they think they can do this continually with out consequences. I think the people of the US is finally getting their heads out the sand and seeing that many of the members of Congress and the the idiot in the Whitehouse are not who they are .

Of course no one is surprised another Democrat politician is a liar.
And no one is surprised she gets away with it because the "news" media are lap-dog Democrat, too.
