Actually, it looks like the New York City that Rand described in Atlas....There's a certain majesty in a very large city, and I marvel at man's ingenuity and power every day driving to and from work (I live and work in Chicago, City of Big Shoulders). It gives me reason to believe that here in Chicago we will survive Rahm and his minions as we survived the gangsters, the police scandals, the racial riots, etc.

It is a sad commentary on democratic control that most refuse to acknowledge.
I must do business in Detroit regularly, but I am fortunate to have always lived far out in the rural area.
