    Excerpt:
Google, the ultimate crony looter company
From an article last year:titled, Google’s Schmidt Backing Hillary Clinton in 2016
"Given how many former executives at Google now work in the Obama Administration, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Former Google patent attorney Michelle Lee, for instance, now serves as the director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, a move that is sure to benefit Google’s innovative technological endeavors. The country’s chief technology officer Megan Smith spent more than a decade at Google as a Vice President. Alan Davidson, formerly a top Google lobbyist, was recently hired by the Commerce Department for a new position, “director of digital economy,” that seems suspiciously tailor-made for his connections. And the list goes on. This has granted Google special access to the White House – access that far exceeds other companies of similar financial clout and influence.

It’s easy to see how helping elect the next president could help a tech company: “With tech policy an increasingly important part of the president’s job—consider merely the issues of NSA surveillance and anti-trust policy, not to mention self-driving cars and military robots—helping to elect yet another president could be incredibly valuable to Schmidt and to Google,” write Pasick and Fernholz.

A Hillary Clinton presidency would mean Google could continue the crony business model it began under the Obama administration, and Eric Schmidt knows it. That’s why he’s eager to help her win. Google’s access to the White House would grow unimpeded, tipping the playing field even further in its favor, while the rest of America’s innovators lose out."

    Headline:
    GOOGLE GETS GRAVY!
The very model of crony capitalism, the Googlers by providing expertise for Mrs. Clinkton hope to become her lap dog and receive favors from the heights of the Clinktonian Regime. When she is elected and the USA starts sinking into a 3rd, 4th, 5th world country Google people will wonder where their clientele went. The self-driving cars are only being bought by their own employees, those fewwho are left, that is.
    Getting Serious.
Hillary Clinton is not a smart woman. She was a failure as a candidate. She was a failure as Secretary of State, she was even a failure as a wife. Her incompetence has been demonstrated time and again. And yet, Google, a tech company with vast resources at its fingertips and data pouring through its fiber optics, cannot see her for the failure she is. On top of all that, the lies, the cover-ups and illegalities makes one wonder if the entire upper echelon of the organization is delusional or just plain crazy-stupid.

I dont like Google at all. Never did. Same feeling as I have for microsoft.

That said, their cronyism has allowed them to have a lot more control and money than if they hadnt bought off politicians and engaged in the revolving door.

They are probably right in the thick of the NSA spying too.

I want Trump to win, and hopefully he can break up some of this cronyism- if he does nothing else.

I dont care if he builds a wall. I can understand why mexico should pay for it as it will force the mexican government to treat its own citizens better so they dont escape to the USA.

These are the people that want to Trans-humanize mankind...The Conscious Human species is in danger from these creatures. The most valuable thing that took 100's of thousands of years for mankind to achieve; consciousness, conscience and a mind can not be digitized.

Not now, perhaps, but I wouldn't bet on the future.
Imagine a consciousness that's pain free and emotion free. Since no "life" is involved, and parts are replaceable, A.I. creations could turn into an implacable enemy. Science fiction? Perhaps, but much of what we take for granted today was science fiction 100 years ago. Can you project 500 or 1,000 years into the future?

The problem there Herb, and why I say that consciousness can not be digitized is because it's not a frequency, at least not a constant one, it's not electric, magnetic, emotional, biological nor is it light... yet it depends upon all those things.
Quantum physics can observe it, measure it while still not knowing exactly what it is...perhaps it's simply a choice...to be or not to be.

If Conscious Human Man survives; I can predict that in the future we will be so far beyond what we think of a conscious thought, behavior and world view now, that we might look back upon these times and see ourselves as the beginning of it all...much the same way we look at and think about cave man today.

Provided...we eliminate the current nonsense we have today and science and the minds of men regain an ethical hold on all things.
Now that's not all that far fetched. .01 % of the American population has achieve two additional levels of conscious understanding in what we suppose to be the second and third tier of consciousness...see, Spiral Dynamics and the Theory of Everything.

          Good stuff.
Artificial intelligence is not, strictly speaking, consciousness. It is a puzzle. By any scientific measure, consciousness shouldn't exist. However there's a good book that touches on the subject, and as it happens was co-written by my cousin. It's, "Quantum Enigma Physics Encounters Consciousness" By Bruce Rosenbaum and Fred Kuttner. Oxford University Press. The first part is stuff we already know, but it gets more interesting the further you read.
I have had many interesting and sometimes contentious discussions with old Fred. As a sidebar, when Fred retired from his professorship at University of California, he had been taking classes to become a psychologist. The guy is pushing 80 and has embarked on an entirely new and different career. He has more fortitude than me.

That would be an interesting read on the development and definition of Artificial Intelligence. I'm one who thought it meant self-aware. Damn! So ET isn't a candidate for objectivism? Shoot. Darn Ratz! QUESTION. Did old Fred get a student loan? (That's supposed to evoke laughter and humor etc.

Those full professors get pretty good incomes. However, in California (The state of Grace) you can take credit night classes for free if you show a low income. I suppose that a retiree can show a no income. However, since getting his degree, he and my cousin Claire have moved to S. Carolina. Nicer home, cheaper overhead. In any case, to make a long story longer, I doubt if he managed a student loan.

Well, I don't know what your profession has been but haven't you at least dabbled in quantum physics.
You seem to be the only one here that understands what I'm talking about...hell, I get a minus 1 just at the mention of a consequence of creation while I'm only talking about quantum physical observations.

This particular subject is one I have been reading and thinking about for years. Likewise, you are the first person I have encountered that is on the same path in thinking on the subject. I am very far from a math whiz, but I came up with what some consider a ridiculous theory, but a few others, are thinking there may be some slight merit in it and one, a math genius I know from high school (also retired) is doodling about. It is that consciousness is what comprises Dark Energy, which is why there not only is intelligence in the universe, but the universe Is intelligent.
I have had a varied career, musician, photographer, camera shop owner, writer and editor/publisher.

Hmm...just read an article that mentioned that "Dark Energy" in relation to consciousness...it's a silly moniker if you think about it...it's just units of energy in it's raw forms and yes, it seems to hold thoughts, knowledge and a raw awareness...those are the reasons I call it the ethernet for the Mind. This same energy also is what makes up matter... so at the base of living matter is information held together by the weakest force and the only law that binds all at this nano level...gravity. If you read my short book you would know what I suppose that law is... manifest emotionally. Biologist would seem to agree with that correlation.

Thanks for the Book ref...I'll put it on my reading list.
Do you know of another source that may reference any measurements of the Mind as a "Field" outside the head. I've run into many an anecdote in relation to Einstein's and Edison's work spoken about at the academe of science in Europe in 1927.

              Carl:
You probably know of Nicola Tesla and his almost mystical, albeit very scientific, relationship to electro-magnetism.
Please give me the info on your book.

I haven't run into anything definitive on Tesla and the measurements I'm looking for...it's something that's alluded to as accepted but no data to be found.

                The book is:
The Fight for Conscious Human Life...in retrospect, it's a bit crude but to the point...my first time out but has sold well.
http://authorhouse.com or any of the other sites.
I get 50% of 3.95 per download at Author House, the publisher...the other sites are slightly discounted if your in a pinch.

Wondering if anyone else is seeing how trump has helped Hillary win. He's suppressed the Republican Party (who deserves it) thus greeting the faithful not vote still all, thus giving the election to Hillary. Just a though. Of Google has always supported the deems so nothing new on that front
