Market Veteran Warns: “Massive Shocks In The World Financial System In Coming Years”

I almost passed up on reading this article, until I read the bottom part where the author lists all the companies who have been operating (italics anybody?) AT A LOSS.

So, we are living in the midst of the Looters paradise: once-profitable companies are now operating (bleeding out) at a loss. The strongest ones, should they remain 'in business', will die last. The question is, how much longer will this last? That is, to keep on working for their own destruction? I believe Hank Rearden was asking this same question to his Looters. Finally, and scary enough, this is at the end of the book. Reality mirroring fiction?

Over the last five or six years since I read AS, I have noted modern parallels to characters and government actions in the margins of my book. There are now dogears on more than half of the pages. More or less, the book's plot line is being followed. In fact, several times in 2009 and 2010 I thought that Obama was using AS as a script. By my estimate, we are definitely behind the looters' "progress". Dagny should have already crash landed at Atlantis. I would estimate we should be a chapter or two into AS3.

The market is like the ambient temperature. It goes up. It goes down. We also have alarmists when it comes to temperature. Similar elements here - both promising doom.

Oh...and I promise the market will go down. And, I promise it will go up. Same goes for temperature.

That's actually all I can say on the matter...
