I find the violence at the recent Trump rally just down the road from here very disturbing. I'm withdrawn from the whole thing now but the mania is clear to see. I don't remember Americans treating each other like this (aside from cops having their dogs chew people up, etc.). Throwing stuff at a woman, running up behind people leaving the venue and punching them in the head...Am I mistaken in thinking this is a new paradigm? Who in the hell thinks it's ok to physically attack somebody for their political beliefs in America? And...the cops stood down(?). WTH is going on?
