Is the First Lady fair game?

The first Lady was invited to give the Commencement Address at a college. During this speech, she made comments about Donald Trump. My question is having made these comments is she now fair game for Mr. Trump to comment on in return and even if she is, should he?

Michelle Obama reminds me of a backup singer in the Supremes group of the 60's. She has NO class and should just be ignored. Nancy Reagan had class. Jackie Kennedy had class. Even Barbara Bush had some class. But Michelle Obama has NONE

I'm not sure what "class" is. I always thought that if you obeyed the rules of etiquette and didn't spit on the floor or scratch in public you were classy. I realize that it is now more complicated than that.
Now, the words that come out of a persons mouth seem to determine their class. By that definition, Mrs. Obama is totally classless.

I am not sure I could define class, but I tend to know it when I see it ! Its not that common these days however.

I would sayone element is a combination of being comfortable with yourself, and allowing others to be comfortable with themselves, even though you might disagree. it helps to be articulate and educated also, so you can express yourself easily and accurately

Ivanka Trump has class. She was on a town hall thing with Anderson Cooper (who doesnt have class !!), and she was absolutely articulate and amazing. Three of us watched it, and all three people were just totally impressed with her.

I am impressed with his whole family. . somehow,
he has arrived in 2016 with some very fine people
in his family -- and I tend to think that it's to his credit. -- j

I agree about his family. I think the Apple doesnt fall far from the tree. I decided right then during that cnn town hall that I wanted him as president. The crony establishment has geared up to defeat him, but I have one vote that I will cast for him based on what I think, not on what they tell me I should think

Absolutely agree! Moochelle Obama has no class except that she is a first class moocher. Her job as vice president with the University of Chicago Medical Center earned her well over $100,000 a year for doing almost nothing. But then, why not, she is a nothing.

My, my, do I detect a bit of an attempted lack of elegance of style, taste, and manner in your classlessness here!
Classy people don't talk that way but want to be classy anyway. If she is truly a nothing, why does her nonexistence bother you?
Sorry for the rant, but there seems to be a lot of such moniker building rather than specifying why someone is wrong or purely evil. Earning a fairly high salary being a negative for a person's classiness does not seem right.
I do not like Michelle Obama mainly because she is a busybody in the personal lives of others. The rest of her life is hers to live.

That means in 8 months 24 1/2 days she can take her nose and go make millions at book signings or getting investment advice from some chicken company? with inflation and all she might catch up to Hillary's one day record.

In my opinion, the President's family is off-limits for political attacks as long as they remain non-political, only supporting non-partisan causes like encouraging reading, physical activity, or drug addicts getting treatment, or photo-op appearances at a small number of important political events (party nomination, inauguration, etc.

Michelle Obama stepped outside of this circle of protection with her 'do it my way or lose federal funding' school lunch program, so she's fair game politically.

Anyone should be able to speak freely about anyone else. If truth is spoken moochelle can't do anything about it. DT, if he responds, shouldn't double barrel it. He should just speak truth, its damning enough.

Considering that she is far too important to diverge an hour or two from her schedule/agenda to share a ride on Air Force One (and instead spends millions of our money taking her own transport with her own entourage) - happens on all of their trips - I would label her as a moocher and a de facto administration staffer. If she was minding her own business like Laura Bush was and just encouraging kids to read, that would be different. M O'bummer seems to be intent on setting policy, arguing the liberal view points, and acting like a low-class piece of trash while pimping J.Crew clothes as product placement for side gifts & side cash.

Don't throw a punch, verbal or otherwise unless you are willing to suffer the counter.

She has long been a political animal therefore I feel that she was fair game from the start.

The real question is whether or not she is worthy of notice? My personal opinion of her is that she is beneath whale feces, but then again The Donald has never shied away from slinging that kind of stuff in the past.

First of all, a commencement address is about the students, not politics. Secondly, if anyone chooses to enter the fray, they are fair game. Go get her Donald.

Fair game gives the assumption that there are rules to be followed. The party in charge has been shredding the rules. Including the rule book.

Make a political comment, expect a political reply. We all do it, we all deal with it, and being in her position, it would be shameful if she didn't feel the heat.

Mrs. Obummer has been fair game since this amateur Dietician-In-Chief turned school lunches into PC blaugh.
In fact, Moochie first became fair game when first time around Candidate Hitlery openly reacted to the infamous "first time I'm proud to be an American" statement.

Yes. Once they interject themselves into politics their just meat on the hoof. By choice. Especially choosing an important or was an important rites of passage ceremony and cheapening it. She made her bed let the tomatoes fly....

One should not cast unfounded aspersions however. for example terming her Michelle Antoinette the Queen Moocher because of the Paris jaunt 7.5 years ago. Antoinette is NOT her real name. The rest is accurate. Another example would be using her socialist leanings to change that name to ..mmmm....Eva Michelle Antoinette Obomba Braun. Her name is NOT Eva. Just two frinstances. (from For instance elided into one word).

The Left does seem to enact a lot of rules -- such as the new CFPB rule about payday lending -- which show such a total lack of understanding of what it's like to be poor, that I call them "Let them eat cake laws."

The Left's opponents, both conservative and libertarian, need to start calling them on it.

My opinion is that family members make themselves fair game if they comment first. They should be given the opportunity to stay out of a campaign if that is their choice. Trump has to respond to let her know he will comment when attacked by anyone, including her.

If you get involved in the political campaign, you're fair game. Making campaign political comments during a non-political event makes you fair game, regardless of the relationship to the political party or candidate.

    of course she is.
if she decides to make political comments than she is fair game for anyone who wants to show how stupid she is. with respect to the current f/l she can't be bright, just look at her partner for life.
