Pat Condell, once again, knocks it out of the park.

"When the truth is your enemy, you know and the world knows that you *are* going to lose - it's just a matter of when." - Pat Condell

As soon as this gentleman gets started he allows the equation of Fascism to a far right ideology; while it’s confusing Fascism (the frying pan) is ideologically right to Communism (the fire). Liberalism is right ideology, but with the tyranny of words liberalism in the US has been coopted to mean the opposite of it’s meaning. Progressivism is closest to Fascism as far as I can tell. Attaching Fascism to Individual rights and free markets, is a method of attaching a negative connotation to something positive with the objective of discrediting the idea. Somehow libertarians are poles apart from liberals, how did that happen?
    A tenant of fascism is:
    Third Position economics[edit]
Fascism supports a state-controlled economy that accepts a mix of private and public ownership over the means of production.[172] Economic planning is applied to both the public and private sector in a fascist economy, the prosperity of private enterprise depended on its acceptance of synchronizing itself with the fascist state's economic goals.[173] It supports the profit motive. However it emphasizes that industries must uphold the national interest as superior to private profit.[173]
Is this not how Hank Rearden got arrested, by not putting the national interest ahead of his own?
Theoretically, this gentleman could have said a bunch of stuff you wanted to hear with the sole objective of attaching the word fascist to people who believe in individual rights. That’s how they roll. I doubt that was his objective, but he promoted that idea; even if unwittingly.

He related the idea because that is what the UK Left is calling the English Defence League (EDL) and the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP).

It has *long* been established that the Fascist Left scream "Fascist" the loudest.
