Senator Pan Running Away

This occurred here recently and we've had a lot of good laughs about it. During committee hearings for Pan's forced vaccination bill (which takes effect soon) he insulted some people, told some lies. He's laughable, really. A couple friends of mine were present when this happened. Everybody thought it was funny as hell. Pan's secretary said he wasn't there. Then, he stuck his head out a side door and, upon realizing that he was spotted, ran away.

Up until today, the only person I've ever heard of with the surname of Pan was a fictional boy who flew away to a storybook la-la land..
There is a mythical ancient Greek goat-god called just plain Pan, but old dino recalls hearing of politicians compared to goats during my 69 years..
The capital building at Montgomery in my "Sweet Home Alabama" has the nickname of "Goat Hill."
Tax-hiking Governor Bentley of Alabama, who refused to cut spending, is one real goat of a political guy. While still currently in office, his wife divorced him because of an affair and he is being impeached due to circumstances that involve his mistress holding some state office I fail to recall.
His mistress quit and went away.
Governor Bentley? No, stubborn as a goat.

He's been an ass-hat ever since he lied his way into office with SEIU and out-of-district gay contributors. He ran against Pugno if you recall, Pugno was the attorney for Yes on Prop 8 and every gay/lesbian from Los Angeles to New York City was tossing Pan tons of money in contributions.

I do think people avoiding certain vaccinations are forcing involuntary servitude on others, unless they agree to be quarantined, which no one does. Undoubtedly, like all things government, this can too far.

How am I forcing involuntary servitude on others if I don't get my kid the Gardasil shots? I'm not disagreeing with you. I just want to understand. For argument's sake please understand that it's not longer up to you or me...or doctors. The decision of which vaccines will be forced on children is now up to politicians. The law hasn't even taken effect yet and the childhood schedule has already ballooned up to 69 vaccines by the time a kid is 18. So, next comes the application of force.

I was careful in using the wording "...in certain vaccinations..." How about Polio, Smallpox, or Typhoid? These were eradicated, and now some people are getting them again due to people resisting vaccinations. I consider exposing the population to diseases that can be eradicated a case of involuntary servitude.

You could argue, and I would agree, that this is an imposition on your freedoms. However, one must also consider the imposition on others freedoms when that person engages publicly.

You could also argue, and I would agree, that this can and has gotten out of hand, like almost all government intrusion. There are a variety of ways to limit this. One might be a sunset rule on all vaccinations, where they must be reinstated by an authority. Another would be demonstrating by data a public good from the vaccinations, which overcomes a preestablished limit on private intrusion.

In any case some vaccines are good. The nonsense about autism is sophistry, and vaccinations are going out of hand as many have noted.

Here they comb looking as for the expected applause as they past. Crowned with blow dry smirks. The reporter attack begins. First the deer caught in the headlights , the edging towards and escape rout, attempts to change the subject and then the 'late for my committee meeting; excuse. Not all their fault. The reporters could have started quacking instead of letting them duck the question.
