What's the first thing Ayn Rand would have done if she ruled the world?

Would she have made a long prophetic speech that all must hear? Would she have set rules that all must obey? Would she have appointed a select few in positions of unyielding power? Would she have freed all of mankind?

In my own opinion, I think she would have stepped down from the throne.

    You would have to kidnap her, threaten her family, and torture her trying to get her to take charge of everything.

    On the one hand, given the mood and direction of the country (world) that exists today, a person would have to be insane to run for U.S. President, let alone Ruler of the World. I believe that we are entering an era where inertia will take us over the brink to insanity with dire results for all.

    None of us would want the throne either, but because we don't, those who do want the throne attempt to ascend it.

    This demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of Rand and her philosophy. She only sought to rule herself and her reality.

    She had no desire to rule. She would have shrugged. Wait. She wouldn't have needed to shrug. She wouldn't have even considered the false choice of being a ruler in the first place. She probably would have laughed at the phrase "ruled the world". It's pretty funny.
