Yeah, I'm pretty sure there are better ways to teach your kid about pool safety that don't involve child abuse...

    Yes. Moreover he threw the kid high into the air. His story would be believable if he let the kid walk over the edge and then rescued her. I wouldn't agree with it, but it would at least make sense about teaching her not to walk into the pool. Being thrown the air toward the center of the pool isn't consistent with something that the daughter could do by accident.

    Time honored tradition to toss your sons into the pond so they learn to swim. So of course we have to attack it as "crazy" or "stupid" or "dangerous".

    Meanwhile, the world continues to go, "awww" at the videos of women taking their babies, too young to walk, into the pool and allowing them to swim UNDER the water...

    And you wonder why I prefer a firing squad to brain washing...
