Military chaplain for atheists and free thinkers
A military chaplain for atheists and free thinkers is oxymoronic enough that there should be some interesting discussion in the Gulch.

UU is about exploring those religions that inform our modern society without abandoning science and picking a creed blindly to follow. It started in 16th Century Transylvania, which happened to be a place that didn't enforce religious dogma at the time. Thomas Jefferson said he would have attended if there had been a congregation around him. Over half UUs are humanists or atheists, so the services would give an idea of what an atheist/humanist chaplain would do.| Permalink
