A military chaplain for atheists and free thinkers is oxymoronic enough that there should be some interesting discussion in the Gulch.

When I lived in Florida I went to UU Clearwater. UU is about exploring those religions that inform our modern society without abandoning science and picking a creed blindly to follow. It started in 16th Century Transylvania, which happened to be a place that didn't enforce religious dogma at the time. Thomas Jefferson said he would have attended if there had been a congregation around him. Over half UUs are humanists or atheists, so the services would give an idea of what an atheist/humanist chaplain would do.

You listed a UU service from very close in proximity to me. Do you live in Brevard County, FL, too?
