Proposed Law Prohibits Christians From Working For San Antonio City Government

Even as non-Christians, my shrug partner and I find this outrageous...and very dangerous. Wouldn't this law also apply to Jews who believed that the "Old Testament" is true? Perhaps only Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus will be eligible for city employment.

That's messed up. Here in the UK, lobbyists are pushing for gay marriage rights. My Mum (who's just turned 80 & still works, she's amazing) knows a gay couple in a civil partnership, who are actually opposed to gay marriage. They believe marriage is supposed to be a union of man & woman. Interesting... although I personally couldn't care less.

    Thought control?

And wouldn't the individual that decided that 'you' had a bias, also have a bias? Catch 22?

If I remember correctly, followers of Islam also believe that marriage is defined as a union between a man and a woman, so they would have to be excluded from city employment as well.
